Amazing if you plan to only leave your luggage here and stay out all night. Nice shower. That’s it. We expected a small room and that was delivered. Yet we didn’t think we needed to worry about breathing in here...
The way this place was built is off. There is absolute no ventilation system. So if the window is closed. You have no air. Right now it is only 20 degrees outside but here in it feels a lot warmer. And no air really.
Next to the railroad... if u close the window u won’t hear it. Not the catch is that you won’t be able to breathe.
Enjoy listening to trains at the loudest on a sauna? Then this is place is for you.
Otherwise. Prepare for a sleepless night. It is impossible. There is no A/C. Or any type of cooling system. The whole building is really warm inside... Opening the windows would cool the room 50% but expect to try to sleep listening to the train passing by every 5 min or after 1am maybe every 30 min? S-Bahn. RE & ICE. It’s a parade.
In seriousness....This place is ridiculous. I would not recommend it to anyone. It is not worth the low affordable price. It should cost maybe 7€? Because of the nice shower - discount for the tip off of promising something nice. I regret not paying with my credit card to make a purchase claim.
Thank you Mc”dreams” for not allowing me to sleep and actually have any dream tonight... this hotel should be actually called McNightmare.
Writing from the hotel... we might have to leave.. or try to sleep in the car....
We have two kitties with us. They are also not able to sleep. Because of the lack of ventilation or A/C.
Horrible experience. Never coming back.
RESPONSE TO THE RESPONSE FROM MC. NIGHTMARE HOTEL:
No there was no reception to get a ventilator. We called and nobody picked up the phone. And what is this if first come first served? So if we didn’t ask for it we were literally going to burn “Pech!?” Wow what a reply. There is no way we can believe you cared. And we called out of the phone hours. At 1am when we were having trouble falling asleep at all... how would you had solved this..
If you cared about your guests. In this rooms that get heated up, there would be...

the self check in system doesn't have the function for you to type in, so you'll have to scroll up and down for ages to get the personal details in. The ID scanner barely works. So you get so frustrated even before you get to your room. When you open the door, you feel the heat and dust brow on you face and you start you stay with a few sneezes. There is no air-con in the room and they don't provide you with a fan either. The room is like an oven and no air. I wonder how this hotel passes the health and safety check... So, you have to open the window to let the air in and to cool the room down a bit. By doing so, the noise from the trains, the noise from the diners of the restaurant downstairs, the smoke from the kitchen of the restaurant, the smoke and the noise from the diners,, would all deliver to your room along with the polluted air.
The hotel seems had used lowest quality of everything. The hair dryer that hardly brow any hot air out, the hand wash dispenser that you have to press like 10 times before you can get any soap out, the dirty carpet, the thing lying flat on the bed they dare calling it "a pillow". The room just looks sad. Nothing like it was on the website.
The walls are very thin. You will hear other people talking, walking, etc. whenever your nextdoor shuts the door, your room would be shaking. Unfortunately, we did have a nextdoor who always slammed shut their doors and our room was shaking all the time during our stay.
There is zero customer service. I tried to contact the hotel about the slammed-shut -door-angry neighbour and there was no response from the hotel.
The so called "free parking" was a basement share with the restaurant downstairs. Unfortunately, the restaurant was really popular so the car park was always full most of the time we...
Read moreWe stayed here to visit the 'Final Fantasy - Distant Worlds' concert at the Mitsubishi Electric Halle, which is close to the hotel (about a 15 minute walk) and made it the ideal choice to stay. There's plenty of parking space (underneath the hotel), and there's public transport nearby (Tram 705) that leads directly to the city center. (about a 15-20 minutes ride)||||We found out that you can buy tickets on the tram itself at a ticket-machine and decided to buy 48-hours free-traveling tickets, which had a nice reduction in price if bought for multiple travelers.||||The hotel itself is a budget hotel with limited staff and doesn't have its own restaurant (so no option for an included breakfast), but there are two restaurants in the same building that can facilitate breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had a very decent lunch at the cloud-kitchen myself. The other restaurant is an all-you-can-eat&drink, which we enjoyed as well.||||The rooms of the hotel are small, decent and clean. All the usual facilities were there (an okay shower, toilet, TV, hairdryer, etc.) but don't expect too much luxury. I was pleasantly surprised however, that the window possessed a roll-down-shutter system. I like my room dark at night ;)||||Also, checking out it easy. You simply don't have to. ;) The doors do unlock after the checkout time however, so that the cleaners can do their job. The personal code to unlock your door will become invalid after that time.||||The only real drawback to this hotel is that it doesn't have air-conditioning in its rooms (it does have a radiator). We were here in March, so no issues there, but I can imagine the rooms can become really hot during summer.||||All-in-all the place definitely offers great value for its price/night, and would definitely stay here again if there's another concert to...
