I am really disappointed to admit that this is my first hotel review and I have stayed in 24 budget hotels in the last 2 years. I am truly unsatisfied with this poor example of an hotel so i am going to put the same effort in to this review as the hotel owner has with the upkeep of his beloved hotel. ||||Rats running round on entry (I highly recommend that you put your car in the overflow with the risk of your car being stolen than to risk getting out of your car in the not secure car park and getting bit by a rat) ||||Plastic used as lining under the carpet🙈||||Paint used to cover up damaged wall was yellow and just shows lack of care.||||Carpets showing no attempt to clean spilled drink. Well as I hope it was some kind of drink.||||Uncomfortable bed||||And to top it off the heating broke and the hotel knew 5 hours before my arrival and didn’t have the decency to email or give me a call to let me know that there hotel is currently a fridge and you will not be offered alternative arrangements........||The next day the heating was fixed but clearly by the age of the radiators in the room and quick fix obviously isn’t going to solve the problem resulting in a loss of heating in the middle of the night.||||Overall the hotel is a pile of crap and needs someone that has a standard and then maybe this hotel could be brought up form a 2 star to a 3. ||||Good luck to you if you decide to stay there oh and mr hotel owner if you do read this sort your dam hotel out it’s shameful just like the moment when you closed your office door when we came down to ask about the heating situation. ||||Doubt he will read this as any good hotel owner would use trip adviser as a form of feedback for improvement but I recon this owner hasn’t got time as he is busy counted all the spare cash he should of put back in...
Read moreOverall a simple, clean little hotel with a very friendly staff. ||I stayed at the AZIMUT Hotel Erding with some business associates for only one night, but for the price I found it adequate and quite comfortable. Although listed as a feature of the hotel on some websites, it does not have a fitness room—which would’ve been nice. Parking was free and is located adjacent to the hotel outside or in a car park underneath the hotel, which is accessible by a very narrow, enclosed ramp. It is right next to the S-Bahn for ease of traveling and I don’t recall any issues with noise from the trains. The room was clean with a comfy bed/sheets/comforter, and the bathroom seemed relatively new (contrary to earlier reviews which state dirty rooms, bed bugs, and out dated bathrooms—-none of that during my stay). Despite a small kitchenette with a fridge, a kettle or coffee maker is no where in the rooms so be prepared to search for your morning coffee/tea upon wake up. Or, if included in your room fee, breakfast is served on the 3rd Floor (smelled great but we were on the road before it opened).||We didn’t have time to venture out much, but The Erding Brewery is a 5 min drive down the road and serves REALLY good food and beer (obviously). The town is also situated on a nice rural route and this made for a great morning run prior to departing for Nürnberg.||This isn’t an extremely fancy hotel but it meets all your basic needs for a...
Read moreAbysmal experience. Uncomfortably basic, poorly maintained, filthy rooms. Poorly situated aside from the proximity to the train station. Inability of staff to identify existing bookings. No understanding of concepts such as customer satisfaction, what constitutes good service, accurate record keeping, flexibility. Whatever you do, do not expect any leeway if your travel is affected by circumstances outside your control such as flight cancellations, no matter how demonstrable these may be. Do not expect management or staff to demonstrate any flexibility, allowances for changing circumstances or understanding when a group booking is made for a wedding or other special occasion. Prepare to hear the phrase "it's not my job" frequently. I would sooner go camping in winter than return to this den of utter...
