Hotel Le Village — Hotel in Gemeindeverwaltungsverband Winnenden

Stayed here for one night when driving through Germany on a family holiday. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.||The hotel is in an industrial area and obviously caters for the nearby companies including Karcher. ||It was a very hot day when we stopped and there was no air conditioning so it was very warm and had to cool the room by opening windows however this made it a little noisy. The bathroom was sizeable, however we had a corner bath with a shower, but there was no shower curtain so it was a massive wetroom - we resorted to having baths rather than showers. Not ideal for us.||There is car parking under the hotel - entry is just past the main entrance - and is ample. Unfortunately some guests had parked across two spaces, cutting down the spaces available.||Location - as we had been driving all day we didn't want to drive far for dinner and there is a pizza/pasta restaurant in walking distance. There is a bar in the hotel and and some tables outside but this wasn't open when we were there so not sure if it opens at all.||Overall, good value and suited a purpose but would probably not stay here again if...

We stayed at Hotel Le Village overnight. It has 24 hr check in which is good. Breakfast is included (usual continental selection, although scrambled eggs with or without meat is also available). WiFi is free although I found it to be a bit patchy connection wise in my room on 3rd floor. It appears to disconnect you after a while of inactivity and you need to enter the code again. You only get one code per person. Free underground parking, which is great. Plenty of spaces when we stayed. Service was excellent and friendly on the reception desk on arrival.
