EE Hotel — Hotel in Kassel

We just stayed here for the night so it was conveniently located near the main road and it had good parking space in the garage. The hotel felt very clean and modern, it must have been recently constructed. The rooms were very large and had lots of storage space. Nice hotel bar by the reception. The breakfast was very nice as well, with some unexpected middle-eastern inspired items as well. We had dinner at the asian buffet place nearby and was suprised by how huge it was, recommended to try out.

The only remark I have is on some minor construction details, like some parts seem to have been rushed or carelessly executed during construction. For instance, the bathroom door couldn't be opened without scratching into the floor and had no ventilation gap. Nothing that gave us any problems, but where everything looking as brand new and perfect, things like that...

My husband and I checked in and though I booked the hotel with my card we were asked to sign a check in sheet as a married couple. We have traveled a lot and have never been asked to do that and we were wondering what a same-sex couple would do? The hotel has no AC, as many hires in the region. We could not leave the windows open because there is a recycling place next to the hotel, where work starts early. They seem to have cut cost on curtains, as they barely covered the windows and the room was very bright throughout the night. There is only one lamp in the bathroom. Bin seit Jahren, nahezu Wöchentlich in diesem Haus gewesen und bereits Gast seit der ersten Stunde. Doch Covid hat dem Haus extrem geschadet.

Denn leider hat sich unter der neuen Leitung alles zum negativen geändert!

Ich erwarte eine gute Erreichbarkeit um telefonisch zu buchen. Es kam bereits etliche Male vor, dass ich bis zu 8 mal anrufen musste ( egal zu welcher Uhrzeit) um jemanden persönlich zu sprechen. Anscheinend ist es nicht möglich eine Bandansage oder ein mobil Telefon zu installieren. Bisher gab es nur ein einziges Mal einen Rückruf. Selbst bei einer Spätanreise musste ich einst 15 Minuten warten, bis die Rezeption wieder besetzt war. (2 Mitarbeiter holten damals gemeinsam Getränke für die Bar) In der Lobby stehend, hab ich im Hotel angerufen doch auch da gab es wie gesagt kein Mobiles Telefon um jemanden zu erreichen.

Die Zimmer sind von Ausstattung und Größe Top, doch waren sie unter der alten Hotelleitung PERFEKT Gereinigt, was heute auch nicht mehr ganz der Fall ist. (leere Klopapier Rolle hinter dem Mülleimer, verkalkte Wasserkocher usw.) Lächelnde Mitarbeiter sind leider auch immer seltener geworden.

Wenn der Vertriebs-Fuhrpark vorm Eingang, ausschließlich aus Ferrari und Porsche besteht, erwarte ich einen Gastronomischen Service der den Fahrzeugen gerecht wird. Davon ist das Haus aber weit entfernt.

Die Parkplätze sind sehr eng und die Beton-Pfeiler auch störend, dafür mittlerweile 10 € zu erheben finde ich nicht gerechtfertigt.

Für eine Nacht oder kurze Aufenthalte ganz gut, aber für mich als regelmäßiger Dauergast bevorzuge ich nunmehr wieder andere Häuser. Finde es traurig und sehr Schade dass es sich so entwickelt hat.
