Avoid this hotel during summer. Not worth 4 stars! +/+ It's a clean hotel and very friendly staff. Once you know how public transport works (not that difficult), it's quite easy the get to the center of a marvelous city. It's a short walk from the hotel to the bus stop. -/- Built in 2008 but no air conditioning: unbelievable! During summer, with temperatures above 23 degrees (Celsius) there is no way having a pleasant stay in this hotel. You're simply not breathing air, but rather 'eating' it. Although the staff is very friendly, this is NOT a 4-star hotel: we booked a 'superior room', but what we got was a rather small room. Actually, during our round trip through the southern part of Germany, this was our most expensive hotel with the least comfort and service. Breakfast is very simple, not much variety and rather tasteless. Our advice: if you can afford it, book a hotel that is closer to the city center and make sure it has air conditioning. With this one, we were 'penny wise, but pound foolish'. WIFI? Did anyone just say "wifi"? Well, they say they offer it at high speed, but most of the time it's not working at all. Besides not working, it's not completely free: after the first 600 MB, you have to pay.

I don't know why this hotel has 4 Stars actually one is too much!!! The Service is very bad there was students guests playing in the floor during night with noisy and loud laughs we ask the reception since we have baby and we couldn't sleep they said only sorry for that without doing anything. The rooms and toilet are clean but they are old our first room the lock of the door was broken the carpet very old and has a lot of old spots we slept one night in this room the second night they changed the room to another one which was better but the students. Generally the rooms are not quite you can't open the window during night either trains or cars sounds continously. I didn't recommend this hotel!!

Do you want to book thinking they have 48 hours cancellation as written on their webpage, only to be told 14 days when you try to cancel? Do you want to show up, be forced to pay in full before seeing the rooms, only to discover disgusting blood stains in the carpet? Do you want to go to the bar for a beer, see the price as 4.90, only to be charged 5.50? Do you want to walk 22 minutes to the train because it's quicker than waiting for the bus? Do you want to try to end your misery and check out early, only to be yelled at by the front staff? If so, you'll love this place!

Stopped off on the way to Austria for a skiing holiday. First impression wasn't great, there were 2 gangs of men hanging around the entrance/bar area who seemed to be paying too much attention to guests arriving and leaving. They were all just either gathered outside the main entrance or inside the bar/reception area and were loitering there for the duration of our stay. I'm guessing they were transit workers because they were all travelling in unmarked white vans, more than likely completely innocent but their presence just seemed hostile.

At first the receptionist was professional enough in a robotic kind of autopilot way. Check in went smoothly enough and we then made our way past the aforementioned groups of men who suddenly became silent and very observant as we passed on our way to our room.

The room was ok for the price but missing a bed. We'd booked a room for 3 people and the room was only equipped with 1 small double bed so I made my way back through the gauntlet of dark clad men to reception to ask the reception droid if we could please have a travel bed delivered to the room for our 11 year old. The answer I got was very practised and I presume it's given on a regular basis. I was told that the only way to get another bed in the room, would be for me to call the agent through whom I'd booked the room, considering it was around 22:30 on a Friday evening I mentioned that it was unlikely that I'd be able to contact any agent at that time and couldn't they just charge me extra for the travel bed? I was told this is impossible and that next time we booked we should use another agent. The discussion went on for quite a while but it became quickly apparent that there would be no solution offered to the problem. The whole experience reminded me of Monty Python's dead parrot sketch.

Having resigned myself to the prospect of an uncomfortable evening for 3 in a tiny town double bed, we went to the bar for a nightcap. Again the atmosphere was strange. The bar/reception area was full with the previously mentioned fellow guests but we were the only people who were actually buying drinks. The barman was pleasant enough, however when I went to pay our €17 bill with a €50 note, it took him about 10 minutes with the use of a calculator to work out that we were then due €33 change.

Breakfast was strange, the coffee machine was decent and there was more than enough bread but little or nothing to put on it. There was a large queue gathering in anticipation of replenishment which finally arrived after a few minutes but was only enough to satisfy the needs of about a third of those waiting, so I decided to investigate what was on offer in the warm buffet trays. Now I don't know where the Azimut hotel has it's origins but I need to find out because I'm not sure I'd be happy visiting a country that serves up warm cauliflower, green beans and peas for breakfast.

All in all a quite miserable experience and one I definitely...

HORRIFIC bad wifi un helpful staff ROOM MIXED UP ! SHOUTING VISITORS PAINT FUMES AND COVERED CARPETS !

Visited with my dad for my first holiday in 7 years due to health reasons. We arrived to find that we were early to our room and that we would have to wait a few of hours before we could sit down after a long flight. So we went into Munich and adjusted to this beautiful city.

However upon return to the hotel we were told house keeping had our bags stores and we had to wait whilst the lady in question desperately tried to find him, resulting in us finding our suitcases along with other individuals, in some side room littered with paint cans and rolls of flooring. We were then told that we couldn't use the stairs as the hotel was being re painted.

Upon entering our room, we discovered that someone else was indeed sleeping in the room intended for us ! After trying to apologise we had a room swapped to the fourth floor, to discovere POOR wifi with a 600mgb daily limit and a bottle of warm water placed on top of the fidge.

We have had very little sleep due to the lack of air conditioning, stress of very little help, the stink of paint and trying not to trip over he underlay layed O top of the carpet and taped down everywhere, as well as the large amounts of students/youths that were allowed to shout and sing at the top of their voices till midnight despite it being easily heard in the lobby.

Will never visit this hotel again and remain horrified that after longing for a holiday for so long and finally being aloud one, I actually want to go home before it even...

I don't usually write many evaluations, but I found some things about this hotel that need immediate improvement, so I am reporting them below.

I stayed in mid-September, the peak season of Oktoberfest, and the biggest problem with this hotel is that there are very few hotel staff available during such an extremely busy time of the year. The staff was rather very friendly and tried to do the best they could within their limited human resources. However, with so much other work to do and complaints from other guests to deal with, it seemed there was no time for my business.

Specifically, I could not sleep at all because there were drunk guests talking extremely loudly at the entrance of the hotel until 3:00 am. I repeatedly discussed this with the staff, but in the end there was no improvement until midnight, as if they did not have the time to do so. To begin with, the phone in my room was broken and I could not get through to reception. So, many times I had to take the stairs back and forth between the reception and my room.

Also, even though I had discussed this with the staff beforehand and extended my stay without additional check-in work, I was actually forced to change my key card.

I am grateful to the staff for doing their best despite their busy schedule. However, the standard of service at the hotel itself is extremely low due to the above-mentioned structural problems, and in that sense I have to give it the lowest possible rating. I strongly urge the hotel management to take this into consideration, especially with regard to the staffing of the...
