Ideal place for business travellers whose office is located near the hotel.|Journey to city centre is only possible by taxi (€30).||There is a restaurant in the hotel that serves really good food but different waiters allow the food to be put in your room and some waiters tell you to pay at the restaurant as the restaurant and hotel are separate entity. ||Pros about this place :|Comfortable |Clean|Quiet|Free parking|Gym but v small with 1 treadmill and some weights ||Cons about this place :|Everything is in German. Ich war mit der Firma zur Tagung mit anschließendem Abendessen (Weihnachtsfeier) angemeldet. Ich freute mich schon auf das Weihnachtsmenü, welches uns vom Landgasthof Gentner lange im Vorfeld vorgeschlagen wurde: 2 x vegetarische Vorspeisen, als Hauptgericht: 1 x vegetarisch, 1 x Ente und 1 x Rumpsteak und 1 x Nachtisch. Am Tag selbst wurden wir dann kurzerhand informiert, dass es als Hauptgericht als vegetarische Variante die angekündigten Winterspätzle mit Camembert, buntem Pfannengemüse, Maronen und karamellisierten Walnüssen nicht gibt. Stattdessen gab es Schupfnudel mit Rosenkohl, Bergkäse-Kräuterrahm und Nüsse. Als Fleischvarianten wurde kurzerhand das Rumpsteak gestrichen, so dass als zweite Variante als Hauptgericht nur noch die halbe Bauernente zur Auswahl stand. Über die Änderung der Vorspeise wurden wir erst gar nicht informiert; statt Essenz vom Steinpilz mit Pistazien Nocken bzw. Cremesuppe von der Pastinake mit Gemüsestroh und Petersilien Öl wurde jedem ungefragt ein Salat serviert: Feldsalat mit karamellisierten Walnüssen, Trauben und Speck. Da ich nicht wusste, was alles im Salat drin ist, wollte ich wissen, ob die Vorspeise vegetarisch sei. Als Antwort bekam ich ein knappes Nein, und der Teller wurde mir wieder von der Hand entzogen. Einige Minuten später bekam ich dann den Salat ohne Speck. Meine Frage zum Nachtisch, ob dieser vegetarisch sei (es wusste ja auch hier keiner, was auf uns zukam) bekam ich ein schroffes „Natürlich, was soll dann daran nicht vegetarisch sein?“ zur Antwort. Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn uns einer ausführlich informiert hätte, warum es ein anderes Essen gab. Auch ernstgemeinte Fragen sollten professioneller beantwortet werden. Der Preis für das Menü mit knapp über 50,- Euro konnte ich nicht nachvollziehen. Ich war enttäuscht und würde kein zweites...

My partner CY came here last year during the Toy Fair and told us that the restaurant here is really worth a detour to taste... absolutely no disappointment at all... we have a 15 person party here (though at times a bit too high and too noisy)... the food here is great my beef loin medium has been cooked appropriately and tastes great! We ordered different appetisers to share and most are great!
