Quant, cozy, and clean hotel.
The reservation process was easy enough. Online with a confirmation email following. A day or two before, the management followed up with an email to confirm our arrival time and what time we wanted to have breakfast the next morning. Cost for one night was around €90 including VAT. Total stay for 2 people with a dog and breakfast for each, was just over €120.
Rooms are large for European establishments, but small for North American standards. Amenities were basic, but ample. This included coffee maker, TV, soap and body wash, and access to a snack area which included wine, beer, water, and snacks.
Towels were thin and hard, but the ample hot water made up for it - nice showers with plenty of pressure. Bathroom had heated floors, but the main room was cold. Lower rooms on back side ("studio 2") had small, but clean windows that both tilted and opened.
Pets are allowed, for a small, reasonable fee. Pets are also allowed in the breakfast area and there is a very large grassy area for them to run and relive themselves (though not fenced in and you will need to bring your own waste bags).
Free parking is in the back and the spots are narrow. My midsize SUV did not fit the turn to pull directly in, but was ample and average for European parking spots.
Breakfast was standard European fare with cold cut meats, cheese wedges, fruit, bread, butter and jams. Coffee and orange juice are available as well. A boiled egg was cooked to order and a yogurt, muesli, and fruit cup was presented as well. As of the time of the review, the cost for breakfast was approx...
Read moreI was there for the ironman 2016 in Luxembourg so i needed a calm and peaceful hotel. After some searching and reading reviews i came out on this hotel. When we arrived i was amazed about the beautiful place and location, there is a private parking from the H&H itself what was a relief. Once we got in the place we were welcomed very pleasant. The people are really friendly and offering to help with stuff. Once on the room it was just perfect. There was a sperate bathroom and some kind of living room, the bedroom was separated from the rest. What was perfect. The bed was comfortable and i slept like a baby. The bath room was very nice and the shower was walk-in shower. Really nice.|The kitchen has everything you need for a holiday and there was an electric cooking fire. We didn't used that because we eat downstairs. Prices were normal and the food was yummy. The breakfast was enough. They had also an suggestion list. There is close by a supermarket in case you want to prepare your own food. At night you hear nothing of noise, no cars no people. The free Wi-Fi worked fine. Sometimes connection losses but i didn't go there for the WiFi. Most of the personnel spoke English. You get your own key from the room and a hotel door (I've been in places where that wasn't the case) the view outside of the window was so beautiful. We had room WEST. I give this a 5 star out of 5 and we're planning to go back next year for...
Read moreMy husband and I attended a wedding in Luxembourg and stayed here. Our room was the Studio West room (if I remember correctly) and it was a little on the small size but we really didn't need much space. The bathroom was modern and very nice. The room was very cute and very clean. If you stay here you MUST order the breakfast - it is 10 euro per person per day and it is well worth it. Very tasty and you get so much food. The only complaint I have is that I think the bathroom vent in our room was connected to the kitchen vent as every day around noon there was the smell of garlic. I happen to love garlic so it didn't matter much to me but I could see how some people could be put...
