The holiday apartment and B&B of Ferienwohnungen + Gasthaus Kachel is simply wonderful.

Ingrid and Helmut do everything they can to make your stay exceptional.

We have now stayed with them twice and we will be making our 3rd stay again very soon.

If it were possible to give a 15 rating, we would. We will always give a 5 star rating as we feel this is a holiday retreat worth the time and money.

If you are going to travel in the Rhine Valley, Bacharach and Bacharach-Steeg, you simply must stay with Familie Kachel. Ingrid and Helmut will always treat you fair.

Une formidable et agréable surprise. La chambre réservée se situe dans la maison de nos hôtes alors que les appartements à louer sont dans une bâtisse jouxtant la maison. Un accueil particulièrement sympathique au cours duquel notre hôtesse, Ingrid, nous expose toutes les activités à envisager dans la sympathique ville de Bacharach ainsi que les expéditions sur le Rhin. Enfin la chambre, grande, spacieuse, richement meublée , au calme et d'une extrême propreté. Puisque les petits déjeuners se prennent dans la maison des hôtes (style table d'hôtes), nous avons demandé à ce que nos hôtes se joignent à nous pour ce moment de convivialité. Quel plaisir. Un petit déjeuner allemand proposant du sucré , du salé, du chaud et du froid. Des produits "maison" (confitures) , des préparations "maison" . Un régal. Chacun raconte sa vie, sa région, ses hobbies. Indrid est bilingue allemand /anglais avec quelques notions de français. Helmut préfère rester, dans la mesure du possible, dans sa langue maternelle. Un véritable moment de partage, toujours trop court. Le moment est venu de partir . Hélas, mais nous reviendrons. Merci Ingrid, merci Helmut . restez comme vous êtes .
