This is a 2 star hotel at 4 star prices Stayed in this hotel for one night passing through. Upon arrival realised it was nothing like the pictures made it look. The room were tired, old and dated. The rooms were hot with no air conditioning. I tried to leave after seeing the room but was told this wasn’t possible and got shown some other room all of the same design but in worse locations. We had dinner in the hotel which was overpriced for burnt tasteless schnitzel. Breakfast was a sorry affair for £20 person. A lacklustre display of meats and some hot offering all covered in flies. No fly screens or machines to stop them. The room obviously was not clean as my partner had an awful asthma attack in the night and my shoulders came up in a rash which took a few days to clear. The final blow was in the morning when trying to raise some concerns on check out only to be laughed at by the manager. Do yourselves a favour and stay...
Read moreWe had an absolutely amazing stay at Relexa Waldhotel Schatten! The hotel perfectly combines comfort, charm, and a peaceful natural setting — an ideal place to relax and recharge.
The location is outstanding for the nature lovers: nestled in the woods, it feels like a tranquil escape while still being conveniently close to the center of Stuttgart. Waking up to the sounds of birds and fresh forest air was a highlight of our mornings.
Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The bed was excellent, and the overall quietness made for a perfect night’s sleep. We also really appreciated the little details that made the stay feel special.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed.
We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality stay in Stuttgart. We’d love to...
Read moreA hotel in suburb of Stuttgart, surrounded by forest. Although the hotel is facing a somewhat busy street, most of the rooms are facing the other side and are very quiet. (And the street is perhaps quiet in late hours.) The room was clean and functional, and the breakfast was good. It is not quite convenient to access Stuttgart Mitte (downtown), but is within a walking distance to Max-Planck institutes (also relatively close to University of Stuttgart). They have two(?) bikes for rent, which is nice (I could reach Mitte through forest in 20 minutes downhill) but the bike was not very well maintained. I took a taxi directly from Stuttgart airport in a late evening -- it took less than 30 minutes and the cost was EUR 38. Overall, a recommended place to stay if you are visiting the surrounding area (Max-Planck Institute, University, etc.) or if you want to...
