Awesome snow condition and almost all lift opened. It also have wide slope and good view on top. However, the resort itself is quite small and lack of advanced pistols. The beginner's magic carpets seems only open for kids. Beyond that, the service and convenience is AWFUL. The online ticket shop is buggy, the site was extremely crowded, and took rather long time to exchange ticket, wait for lift and pay for parking. Yes it lacks of free parking and have to walk a long distance from the expensive parking house. Omit can be found. It's hard to find a pistol map on official website, And I didn't find they offer paper ones on site. I also can't found water fountain or drinking water machine, or water boiler for decent free drinking water on site. Further, I can not find sitting site and microwave oven for food you brought, yet the food court is also small...
Read moreI went skiing here in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and I’m going again next year in 2023, I’m seeing these reviews and im thinking this isn’t the feldberg I remember. We had availability to the hochschwarzwarld card for free skiing but that doesn’t seem like an option anymore, not that big a deal but since we are travelling abroad to go feldberg and I’m seeing all these reviews talking about a online ticket I am really disappointed since me and my family don’t have access to mobile data. Please fix this and fix your incredibly long lines that were mentions in these reviews. Other then that from the other years I’ve been here it is a wonderful place with perfect slopes for beginners and pros and is super family friendly and I was deeply saddened when I couldn’t go this year and the year before. Here are some photos from the...
Read moreFor beginners and intermediate skier like me, Feldberg is really nice. Coming from Basel its only 1.5 hours away and very cheap to travel especially if in a group of five (Team 24 ticket : 16 EUR) . The day pass for lifts is also not expensive (32 EUR). There are good ski schools and renting places. Renting ski stuff is around 25 EUR(Standard). Ski classes for whole day in group is 35 EUR. There are nice restaurant where a standard meal with a beer and a coffee later can cost you total 15 EUR. So at an average you spend around 75 EUR per person and you have an awesome ski day. Can't ask for a better experience.
The only down side of being so cheap inadvertently is being over crowded...
