Röbler Thor — Hotel in Wittstock/Dosse

Restaurants in hotels in small, stunningly beautiful towns are like a Justin Timberlake album. You know you'll like the cover, and the basic idea, but will you want a replay? This was a rare, open restaurant this Monday, and I'm glad it was. Lovely place to sit and really good service. Yeah, I know, I'm keeping you waiting for the typical kitchen insider microscope food report. Everything was well edible and made from decent ingredients. There were a few 4* choices. Gnocchi is best when egg and almost flour free...that is, potato. Here, they take the easier production and storage route and make what is essentially a potato dumpling..a ball of potato, flour and egg that has an attractive, firm, dumpling bite to it. The good fish is a little overcooked, but less so than what otherwise might have been home made fettuccine. Overcooked and not properly drained isnt a good description for anything I can think of. But these are relatively minor points. All j all its a reliable experience for a mid level price, in a town as priceless as a glance...

Auf Ihre doch sehr Fresche Antwort und vorallem Recht Arrogant möchte ich Ihnen mitteilen, daß Kunden/Gäste durchaus das Recht haben auch wünsche zu äußern und das hat so rein Garnichts mit dem Geld zu tun. Und ein Polterlokal benötigen wir nicht. Ich gehe davon aus das Sie Ihnen das völlig egal ist was Kunden/Gäste denken. Und das Sie nur ,,20Gäste" haben kann einem wirklich Leit tun. Aber gut ich habe meine Kritik Ihnen gegenüber gesagt und hoffe das Sie damit eventuell mal etwas besser auf die Lebensmittel achten die Sie dort verkaufen. Es brauch ja auch nur ein Hersteller Fehler sein.

Aber es ist Intressant das Sie den Gästen nachgehen um zu schauen ob diese wirklich Erbrochen haben, daß nächste mal bringen wir eine Probe zu Ihnen.

Am Anfang war das Personal wirklich Freundlich, jedoch bei Kritik wurde Sie immer unfreundlicher und zum Teil abwertend. Nachdem etliche sich anfingen zu beschweren das die Kartoffeln alt sind fing das Personal an zu Diskutieren und das wir keine Ahnung haben. Ich habe den Chefkoch Persönlich angesprochen ob es denn Normal ist das sich in dem Essen Haare befinden, alte Kartoffeln serviert werden die Leber offensichtlich nicht mehr gut war ( es haben mehrere Gäste danach erbrochen) auf den Hinweis das dort offensichtlich etwas mir dem Gesamten Essen nicht stimmt wurde immer wieder gesagt es sei alles Frisch. Das kann keiner der 17 Gäste bestätigen. Schade das auch kein Entgegen kommen seitens des Restaurants kam bezüglich eines Rabbates oder einer anderen Gutmachung. PREIS 601,10€ es ist Unverschämt bei 85% schlechtem und ungenießbaren Essen.

Auf der Speisekarte stehen nicht einmal die Getränkepreise also muss der Kunde das Zahlen was sich das Personal eventuell als...

We were outside, or rather inside, the Stadtmauer but a sign told us not to bring the car through the Wall. It was only after we walked by foot that we discovered the hotel and the parking space on the other side. There should be a sign saying that hotel guests are supposed to drive through the Röbler Tor and not obey the "No Passing" sign. ||Quiet room - in spite of the festivities going on in the restaurant. And good breakfast....
