Kaysens Grande Hotel — Hotel in Greater Accra Region

The usual problem in Ghana. Don’t expect anything but pay european prices. Food will take long to come even if you are the only guest. There is no choice, nothing but carbohydrates and meat. Pool is not to clean cause the pumps rarely work. There are lots and lots of mosquitoes around even during daytime. |The place is relatively clean but don’t look around. Lots if things are broken down, not well maintained,falling apart and the interior is just tasteless. |It is a small hotel and it would have potential if stuff would be trained well, if the place would be refurbished and cleaned and...

We booked a standard room for about 180 cedi a night. We were always connected to wifi on the premises which was great! Our room offered wifi, cold AC and hot shower. They had a fitness room. Most of the machines did not work well but it was a great space to workout. The pool area was really relaxing and the pool was the cleanest I've been in in Ghana. Breakfast was included and was delicious. We only ate there once for lunch/ dinner. The prices were a bit high but the food was good....

In reception is a sign: If you see something, say something! This encouragement of feedback is the Owner's ethos as I realised from speaking to him - and high standards pervades every part of this hotel. Fully air-conditioned, hot and cold shower, a beautiful tv room just to relax, beautiful pool and poolside bar, and fantastic accommodation (huge bed!), quiet location.||My ten-nights stay were highly enjoyable and I wish to thank all the staff, and the very affable Owner.
