MCY Chinese and Western Restaurant — Restaurant in Greater Accra Region

WATCH WHAT YOU ORDER FOR TAKE OUT!!! We live in Accra and since we’re in Tema, I ordered food to go yesterday (August 2, 2021) for our dinner and I ordered around 12:30pm and I got us Sliced Beef in Szechuan Sauce, Sliced Beef in Pepper Sauce, Sautéed Water Spinach, and Yangzhou Style Fried Rice. Dinner Time: We reheated the food and everything was good EXCEPT for the FRIED RICE, it has this slimy texture and the smell is getting to spoilt. And so I called the restaurant and told them about it and I talked to a local girl and told me she will let the owner know about it and call me back. She called back and they started arguing with me saying that “I’m the only person who complained about the rice and nobody else complain about it” and being an Asian I know exactly how the rice is supposed to look like and taste like even blindfolded. And guess what, of course nobody will complain because when I ordered the food there’s NOBODY ELSE in the restaurant! 🙄 So I told them that I can bring it back the next day for them to see and taste(if they can take them to eat it) and tell me I’m wrong. And the local girl on the other line said, Madam even if you return it you won’t get your money back which is not my point! My point is NEVER SERVE A ROTTEN RICE and make people Sick! The taste of the food is now different from before. It's not that delicious anymore. On our last visit, the main dish was served last. We were almost done before it came. The worst thing was the taste. We ordered sweet & sour but there's no sweetness at all. The dish was very sour so we just took it away (to recook in the house the next day).
