Plus 33 Hotel — Hotel in Greater Accra Region

I just checked in yesterday but will plan on staying a few more days. My favorite things about the hotel were the beautiful rooftop bar and the staff that seemed very eager to please. The rooftop bar has a pool table and great views of the ocean so it was well worth the 4 flights of stairs. Breakfast today consisted of a delicious omelette with two slices of bread, two hot dogs, beans, instant coffee and juice. Rooms were very secure with a sturdy door and lock. Free parking although access to the hotel is via a dirt road. Its less than a 5 minute drive to Titanic beach with nice waterfront restaurants and a lively nightlife scene that gets busy at night. There is also a pool and free wifi throughout the hotel. I liked the full size bar of soap in the shower but was glad i packed shampoo because none was provided. The manager and staff were very attentive and went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable. Rooms were equipped with an AC, fridge, electric hot water kettle, Cable TV and were clean. No smoking signs were posted throughout...

I stayed in the Plus 33 for 10 nights on a recent business trip to Ghana.||I couldn't believe the value offered as my room was great with powerful AC and very clean.||The staff are all very polite and do their best to help you at all times.||I had a few informal meetings in the rooftop bar which is very good value and also offers nice meals at low cost (talapia at 35 cedis) and the beer is nice too!||The pool are is nice too though guests rarely use it.||The hotel was only opened about a year ago so it's all in good condition and is only a ten minute walk to Junction Mall.||The value for money is absolutely first class and I will certainly stay there on my next trip to Accra - some of the reviews on here are 'at a tangent' to my own experience -what do the expect for under $30 a night - a suite at the Hilton? ||Well done Plus33 - keep up...

All they have to show is structure the management and services are terrible while I was there the lights went out atleast twice with no explanation plus it took a while before it came back on which means they don't have a backup.

I was at the bar at the rooftop and noticed they don't have enough glass (they are definitely not prepared for a large crowd) also because my friend didn't get a glass so we asked the bartender to get her one now in that moment we saw him pick a used glass and wipe clean with tissue which means they don't have a kitchen sink at the bar.

When my friend asked that the glass be washed instead of wiped the bartender told her he would have to use the washing hand bowl at the toilet (that was a terrible 😑move) This is unacceptable.

The steep stairs at the rooftop is a hazard I fear some day someone will...
