Our family of nine had an absolutely incredible time at Busua Beach Resort, and it’s safe to say we made memories that will last a lifetime. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. We decided to book the ocean-view rooms, and let me tell you, the views were beyond breathtaking. Waking up to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore and seeing the vast expanse of the ocean right outside our windows was a feeling we’ll never forget.
The kids had an absolute blast – there was never a dull moment! They loved playing on the beach, splashing around in the water, and even trying their hand at a bit of surfing. The resort staff was incredibly welcoming and made sure there was plenty to keep them entertained, from beach games to exploring the local surroundings.
As for the adults, we enjoyed some well-deserved relaxation. One of the highlights was definitely the wining in the ocean. We had a chance to go on a boat trip and experience the ocean from a whole new perspective. The gentle breeze and serene surroundings were the perfect way to unwind and bond as a family.
In the evenings, the fun continued with a fantastic live band that played right by the beach. It was the perfect way to wind down after a day of adventure. The music, the ocean breeze, and the vibrant atmosphere created such a lively yet relaxing vibe that we couldn’t help but dance and sing along. It was an unforgettable experience.
The resort’s attention to detail and the warmth of the staff made it clear that they truly care about creating an amazing experience for every guest. It was the perfect destination for our large family, offering something for everyone – from thrilling ocean activities for the kids to relaxing oceanfront dining for the adults.
All in all, Busua Beach Resort was the ideal family getaway. The combination of stunning views, fun activities, and exceptional service made it a trip we’ll cherish forever. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place where both kids and adults can have a blast while soaking in the beauty of Ghana’s coastline.

Read moreWe had high hopes for Busua as friends had stayed there before, but were shocked by the poor service and conditions of the hotel. We booked an exec room and in the course of 3 days experienced electrocution from all metal fixtures in the bathroom (electricity was not grounded, then huge flooding when they tried to fix it (both in the bathroom and the bedroom. Just when we thought we saw the worst of it, our sink started leaking and then the next day the AC unit. The service was terrible - it took them hours to get to the room to fix things, even when it was literally raining in the bedroom and bathroom due to the way in which they had repaired the water heater to stop the electrocution. The straw that broke the camel's back was on the last day when our friends got robbed walking home on the beach at night. They lost their cell phones and the hotel refused to call the police because "it didn't happen on their property." Finally, we all had serious challenges checking out. The hotel promised us a discount, but did not respect it. We argued with them for nearly an hour, there was no manager on site, and finally we gave up. We will NEVER go here again and strongly recommend against patronizing this place as the service was horrible, it was overpriced, the food wasn't great (our lunch came out cold one day), and overall the hotel was a...
