La Galba — Hotel in Amyndeo Municipality

A group of us were staying in Nymfaio in order to create some footpaths for visitors to the village. Of course we were always needing things that we broke or forgot - and the proprietors helped us - a new sledgehammer? no problem! picnic lunch for you AND three or four helpers not staying at the hotel, no problem! All your clothes and boots are soaked- well get them all dry in time for work the next day! One of you fell down while in the mountains and was injured and got blood on the sheets - no problem, and heres some more first aid equipment to replace the stuff that got used up...Need to start earlier than our normal breakfast time - no problem! Need to leave the hotel after midday ( the usual changeover time)in order to finish the work before leaving? no problem and no charge for that. Good humoured and helpful at all times. Everything was comfortable and clean (when we got there) but noone bothered us about the bags of equipment and gear that we had and noone disturbed us when we were trying to get organised for the next days work. Helpers were given coffee while we waited for others to arrive. A really nice place to stay. AND our dog...

The hospitality and the location of this place was excellent, the building is amazing and the breakfast included great. But the room with the double bed was a cold room with three old and bad mattresses beds combined which made impossible for two people to sleep together. The water was cold also, but other than these details mentioned, it was okay. We thought it would be thoughtful for this critique to be made in order for a possible change. Το ξενοδοχείο "La Galba" θα το συναντήσετε στην είσοδο του ορεινού οικισμού Νυμφαίο, σε απόσταση 150 μέτρων περίπου από την πλατεία του χωριού. Το Νυμφαίο βρίσκεται σε υψόμετρο 1.350 μέτρων, υπάγεται στο Δήμο Αμυνταίου, του Νομού Φλώρινας. Η αρχιτεκτονική του ξενώνα είναι εναρμονισμένη με την παραδοσιακή αρχιτεκτονική της περιοχής, Είναι κατασκευασμένος με πέτρα και ξύλο στο εσωτερικό. Οι κοινόχρηστοι χώροι του ευχάριστοι, άνετοι, με ωραία ρουστίκ διακόσμηση και δύο τζάκια. Ένα στην τραπεζαρία και ένα στο σαλόνι. Τα δωμάτια αν και σχετικά μικρά είναι πολύ καθαρά, καλαίσθητα και με πολύ ζέστη τον χειμώνα. Ο χρόνος έχει αφήσει τα σημάδια του στις τουαλέτες των δωματίων, οι οποίες επίσης είναι πεντακάθαρες. Το πρωινό υπέροχο, αρκετό και με διάφορες επιλογές. Οι τιμές πολύ καλές, ανάλογες βέβαια και με την περίοδο. Οι άνθρωποι του ξενώνα εξυπηρετικοί, ευγενικοί και με πολύ χαμόγελο.
