Elaia Villas — Hotel in Argostoli Municipality

Elaia Villas is the best place to stay in Cephalonia!!!! We loved everything about it. The house is absolutely perfect: everything is brand new and shiny, very modern and tastefull, quiet surroundings. We were there only 4 days and the pool and the house were cleaned twice! You can eat from the floor - it's that clean. The kitchen is fully equiped. Bathrooms (3) are new, clean and functional. Beds are very comfortable. Aircondition is in every room. There are two TVs and DVD players, radio with speakers. There is a lot of parking space. Poolside has comfortable chairs and nice lightening during night. View from the balcony (there are two upstairs) is breathtaking - neverending see. We were a little bit worried about how close it is to the Airport bu it was completely unnecessarily. You can hear the planes but it isn't loud at all and planes don't fly at night there. It was actually a lot of fun watching them land and start - You can take great pictures 😀 The next best thing about Elaia Villas is not a thing but a person - Stefanos - THE Owner. My and my friends travell a lot and have met a lot of nice and cool people around the world but nobody like Stefanos. He greeted us with a bollte of Cephalonian wine, he told us all about the Island, where to go, how to get there, what to see, what not to see. He recomended Taverna, where we ate some of the best greek meals we ever had in very good prices. He answered and responded when we needed some help. He is a great person and the best host You can ever imagine. All of his recommendations were accurate, helpfull and brought us a lot of nice experiance. Excellent is trully the least I could say about this estate in the beautiful Island of Kefallonia. Strategically placed. Near the airport and the city of Argostoli, surrounded by vineyards and picturesque seashores and a very poetic full of olive trees that date back to the medieval times orchard. 2 detached houses, fully equipped with all amedities needed, with autonomous piscines, decorated with class, greek aesthetics and directly in line with the beauty of the surroundings. Its serenity is quite difficult to find and in a nutshell, taken into account the hospitality and professionalism of the owners, who successfully did their best to make our stay pleasant, I am more than happy to say that elaia villas are definitely a must for a luxurious yet affordable estate to make ones...

I have never stayed so close to the airport before and after nearly three hours getting to Kalkan in Turkey last year, I will never overlook this again!! The villa and host were amazing and we had everything needed. You need to hire a car and the island is so easy to get around. The roads around the mountains in the middle of the island are amazing and put our rounds in the Uk to shame.
