Ionian Horizon - Private Bungalows — Hotel in Argostoli Municipality

We had the enormous pleasure of staying in one of Constantin's villas which were built only very recently. We stayed from the 19th - 26th August 2025. The spec is excellent, with a very wide bed, comfortable sofa and smart TV and electric shutters to keep the villa cool during the day as it is south facing. One sign of a good establishment - beautiful soft towels! It was also much appreciated to receive a complimentary food starter kit with bread, yoghurt etc and a bottle of Kefalonian wine. The shower has a small head and a large rain shower head and is powerful and easy to use. The dipping pool was clean and we were visited one day by the Kefalonian ponies! It's peaceful, has a great outlook and is close to amenities so acts as a great base. Constantin is the type of villa host you dream of - courteous, personable and always looking for ways to make your stay more comfortable or enjoyable. We stayed 9 nights at the Ionian Horizon and thoroughly enjoyed the bungalow. These are located in such a peaceful location. We enjoyed the sunsets every single night along with occasional visits from the local wild horses.

We cooked breakfast every morning and had all the equipment we needed for that. I will suggest after cooking to take the trash out. Our fault but one day we ended up having a slight ant issue. The bed and the outdoor chairs are very comfortable.

I also want to compliment Constantin on his responses/communication. We had an issue (completely unrelated to the stay at the Ionian Horizon) and he gave us advice to help us resolve our issue and it all worked out great. His responsiveness was quick and kind. We thank you...

If you like beautiful views of the sea , private pool ,peace & quite & away from everything then this gorgeous property is perfect. Host was great and everything was smooth . It is down a small road and we found it easy in the dark with google maps . Couple of things, only hob for cooking, which was no problem, a bbq would have been great . no iron , again no problem . Wardrobe space small , we definitely over packed 🤣Garage & shop couple mins away , you cannot walk to restaurant, but drive to nearest villages only 10-20 minutes away . So happy to see the beautiful wild horses ....
