Hotel Fani — Hotel in Dion - Olympos Municipality

We usually don’t write reviews—neither good nor bad—but this time we feel compelled to share our experience. Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing, mainly due to the behavior of the hostess. Her attitude was unnecessarily arrogant—more fitting for royalty than someone in the hospitality industry—and frankly, quite rude.

Our only request was a clean room suitable for us as a couple and our 7-month-old baby. This basic expectation was somehow met with resistance and a cold demeanor, which left us confused and upset. It truly made us wonder: just a few steps from Mount Olympus, where is the famed Greek hospitality we were hoping to experience?

Please, don’t make the same mistake we did—don’t pick this hotel, not...

This is a small, family-ran business, and they owners are very friendly. It offers pretty much anything you would expect from a rental place. ||If you are traveling with young kids: probably not the most kid-friendly location, as there is not even a small yard for them to play, and is located in a pretty busy street, so lots of car traffic. My kids did enjoy the trains going by, as it is facing the railroad tracks, but then you get the noise from the trains-- it's not that annoying, but then again, we shut the windows and ran the A/C instead.||What to keep in mind: there is no room service, and the kitchen area is minimally stocked up in terms of...

The hotel is relatively cheap but may be that is its main advantage.||Located on a road, really close to the railway, it was quite noisy. Moreover, there was a church nearby, which bell was tolling almost every morning.||The bed was really hard and uncomfortable but what was may be the biggest disadvantage was that for a week, we had the room cleaned and towels changed once only. ||Half of the rooms are facing the inner courtyard and actually you can see what are your neighbours doing...but they can see you as well :)||It is close to the beach and the wi fi is quite good.
