Mousiko Pandoxeio — Hotel in Dirfyon - Messapion Municipality

First of all this is not a hotel it is a category of its own a cultural centre . Mr tassos is a music composer of great fame and someone could say he is the creator of many children’s dreams…. It is of great honour to meet him discuss with him listen to his stories. The hotel is very near to the centre of steni so you actually don’t need a car to go around. The hotel is in very good condition we were given a suite with hydro massage tub that was spacious enough for two adults and two children . The rooms are super clean and using excellent quality bed sheets and the mattress is a real five star mattress. Also our room had a great balcony and the terrace of the hotel was also excellent for relaxing . Mr tassos is always SO willing to help if you ask. If there are two or three things that someone could say are negatives is the relatively small bathroom in the suite and the breakfast which is a little bit monotonous but with excellent quality. Fresh bread , pies , excellent honey , and Ofcourse real free range eggs not to forget the freshly squeezed orange juice! . We had three times breakfast and it was every day the same plus the fact the the pies all contained feta which means if you don’t eat it then you are left only with eggs for salty snack. I believe that the breakfast should be improved in terms of variety ( perhaps some Cheese plate and some meat etc) . Also we were not served any fruit for breakfast which i think we should have asked for. In any case the hotel is an EXCELLENT option for steni and we really look forward to coming back in...

What a beautiful place and what a wonderful experience! The Lodge has so many lovely sculptures, a friendly artistic atmosphere and it stands out for the cleanliness, delightful breakfast and location, just a few minutes’ walk from Steni’s central square and many other hiking trails in the mountain or near the river. Most importantly, what makes this place special and more than a lodge are the host and his family. Our daughter is a huge fun of the host, Mr. Tassos Ioannides, who is a great composer and story teller. His wife, his daughter and all the stuff were friendly, polite and very kind to our daughter, who loved them, making our stay in the Lodge an unforgettable experience.

Its a long time since i enjoyed staying in a hostel so much. I stayed in a suite which had all the amenities ( fireplace ,tv, hydromassage for two people inside the room,air conditioning and central heating.). The bed was very good i enjoyed my sleep and the coverlets were perfect. The room was very quite the walls and the doors very well insulated so i could not hear voices from the other rooms.  The breakfast was very good also and included local products. The staff was very polite. It is the best place to stay  for families but especially for couples ( no matter the age) especially if they book the suite with the hydromassage...
