8 days stay at Karavostasi Beach Hotel, early July, 2 adults with 2 children 11 y.o.and 12 y.o. We stayed in two adjoining rooms, each one with a separate bathroom, very clean and spacious. It's a perfect solution for a family with two kids. The hotel is a 3 min walk from the beach. The service is both professional and at the same time not impersonal. Everyone, from owners, the ladies in reception, to the cleaning ladies were exceptional. The pool is very well taken care of, clean and offers an additional alternative from the local beaches. The area is quiet, you can hear the waves of the sea, and the nature in the area is pure. The breakfast is at very good standard. It's a 3 star hotel, but I have been to 4 star hotels which are inferior. Therefore this helps also in the budget to stay at reasonable levels. I would definitely recommend it for a family with kids, for a relaxing time, with no worries that something can go wrong during the stay. Congratulations to the people running the place. Unique vfm + a very positive taste and memory. Not to forget that some of the products served at breakfast come from the gardens...
Read moreI visited this place with my husband and infant child. I really liked the reception staff - I found them to be polite and accommodation. Yet compared to some other hotels in the region, they did not really get up to help with our stroller or bags (they simply watched us struggle with it). I did not like this. I also found the bar staff to be unfriendly- they rarely passed by the pool area to ask for drink orders or to clean the area. ||Rooms were clean but a little dated. Great shower with door which can be rare in these parts. ||We really enjoyed the food and had the all inclusive package which was worth it as you got wine included in your meal. ||Pool was nice as well. ||I do not know if I would recommend this place - I preferred the next door establishment (Riviera Perdika...
Read moreThe hotel is one block from a beautiful beach. It is a lot less crowded than nearby spots and it's a long beach so you can spread out. The breakfast buffet is loaded and the best we've seen so far in our Ionian coast adventure. All the food is from the local area and we enjoyed the many homemade delicious authentic Greek foods as well as the traditional eggs, etc. We really enjoyed making our own Greek coffee in the electric hoveli. Our room had two twin beds. It was very clean and had lots of closets. Every room seems to have a balcony. All the staff are helpful and very nice. The pool is large, well maintained and refreshing. There is a taverna at one end of the beach with a beautiful view of the sunset if you want to eat dinner nearby. Highly...
