We stayed at Panorama Ionio in Plataria for one week and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is simple and budget-friendly, but it offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are basic but clean, with a small kitchenette that’s convenient if you want to prepare your own meals. The balcony views are a real highlight – perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

We had a reservation for 4/9, but when we happened to call to let them know we’d be arriving about an hour late, we were told the room wasn’t actually available. It turned out it had never really been reserved for us, but was kept as a kind of “backup” in case no one else booked it. If we hadn’t called, we would have only found out when arriving there. The owner admitted the mistake, but dismissed it by saying that “there’s plenty of availability at 00:30.” In the end, we were left without a place to stay at 1:00 a.m. and had to pay triple the price at a hotel further away. When we spoke with other places in the area, they told us this wasn’t the first time something like this had happened. Sadly, this was a very negative experience for us, and we would definitely not recommend this...

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. The rooms are not clean and the customer service is non existent. We called several times to let the owner know that there were no towels, the toilet was running, wifi and TV not working. His response was that he would have towels in our room upon return, he would have a plumber take a look at the toilet and a tech look at the TV and wifi. When we got back to our room, towels were not brought to the room, toilet still running, TV and wifi not working although he said there was free wifi. Called him again and his response to the toilet was turn off the valve. Towels would come when laundered. Towels never came. Room looked like it was never cleaned. Dishes were gross. Do yourself a favor...
