||First impressions of this hotel are of a slightly tired building. However, we thought it was worth having a look. The entrance is via the cafe bar by the sea.. We were shown the room and immediately decided to take it. The room faced the sea with a nice if small balcony. A good “people watching” spot. Right in the middle of the activity but not noisy. The room had two levels with three steps down to a sitting area by the window. The small kitchen area was nicely done with a kind of breakfast bar/food preparation area, and faced the balcony. One major problem if you wanted to use it.........no cooking equipment utensils or kettle. We didn’t, so it was not an issue. The issue was in the bathroom where there was no hot water. Nothing. Not impressed. There was a hairdryer supplied should you want it. We went for our breakfast and advised the young girl in the cafe of our problem with the water and she said she was very sorry. She had forgotten to switch it on. The next morning we had hot water. Had it been me I would have definitely switched it on immediately. The breakfast was amazing and served by the sea opposite the hotel. I am giving this place four stars because the owners had put a lot of thought and care into updating it successfully and It was generally speaking a very nice space to be It’s just a shame they were let down Personally I found the bed to be as comfortable as most.. So I would still recommend this hotel and would still stay there again. I would just check on the water temperature!!! It was very good value at 40 euros including a very...
Read moreWe had a studio room (kitchenette, lounge area, steps down to sleeping area, bathroom). Sliding doors to small balcony overlooking the esplanade and the sea. It is spacious. Decor is tasteful (I loved it), furniture well chosen, bed and seating comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with fridge, 2-hob stove top, sink, and an electric Greek-coffee pot and cups/glasses. (No other kitchen equipment though.) TV and free WIFI.||||Service was friendly and personal; very helpful. The breakfast was excellent - croissants/bread and spreads selection, pita (sweet and savory), omelette, Greek yogurt, coffees - all served at table. ||||The location is seafront with tavernas and cafes both sides. A short walk from the hot water beach, & close to the ferry terminal.||||And Tigger loved it too. ...
Read moreMain downside of this hotel are rooms. Really old worn furniture, clunky door handles and old accessories in toilet (really worn faucets), all of those are kinda functional but they give a bad feel about whole expirence. I beleve that rooms are clean , sheets where clean and the room was cleaned before we arrived .We stayed 2 nights and both nights there was music just outside in night club/bar, its not the loudes but if you sleep with doors open (we had mosquito net) its anoying and it lasts until like 4pm (yes on workdays too)... Service staff are really plesant and thats why i gave it 3 star. Also parking is hard to find. Great room views also, small terrace, nearly...
