Homer's View Villas — Hotel in Ithaca Municipality

We have stayed at Homer's View Villas for 16 nights in 2022 and 28 nights in 2023. The villa's are home from home, both having lovely commanding views and a lovely pool and sunbed area to relax around. Having travelled the island extensively I think HVV is situated in the best area, close to Frikes (8 mins by car) and Stavros (4 mins) and Exogi (8 mins). It's a lovely 35 walk into Stavros where there's a load of bars, supermarkets, bakery, and other shops. Also recommended is the 1 mile walk up a gradual mountain footpath to Exogi where the ET Bar offers stunning views whilst you enjoy just a drink or meal. Just off Stavros town is the stunning Polis Beach where you can hire sunbed/umbrella and a good beach taverna with good selection and reasonable prices. It's a stunning 35 min drive to the capital of Ithaca, Vathi, where there are a load of beaches on the way or around this town. Kioni is about 15 minutes away and Cemetry beach at the far end of the town is a must with its beautiful cove and beach taverna. Anogi is a 15 minute drive from Stavros and the little taverna in its centre is another must to visit with its charm and cheap prices and good food cooked to order by Lefteris and Daniella. Zoe and Aki at HVV are wonderful people and perfect hosts. We love it there and will be returning for three weeks in 2024. We can't recommend it highly...

My husband spoiled me by taking me on the most romantic island get away. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by our hosts Zoe and Aki. When we opened our bedroom doors to go onto the balcony early morning for coffee and tea we where blessed with the most amazing sunrise along with the sounds of rosters crowing and the melody of small bells as the islands goats would make they way to find grazing for the day. The units are spacious, clean neat and tidy and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need while away from home from the air conditioners right down to the dishwasher (ladies don't need to get your hand dirty) there was no expense spared for the finer details which made the accommodation that much more special. Most magisterial pool right outside our villa. Our hosts Zoe and Aki informed us of all the main attractions on the island which made it more special from the morning walks down to the fountain of Kalamos to drink water that comes from the mountain down to the walk to the beach. The town is nearby with a grocery store mini market and pharmacy close at hand, and for a night of dining the restaurants serve an amazing variety of authentic Greek cuisine finished off with Greek coffee and best company, Zoe and Aki. Maybe the best place to stay during your visit at Ithaca. After a lot of searching we booked the one villa for our family vacations. The villas are located at the north part of the island which is actually good since some of the best beaches are very close. Moreover is very quite area to relax and very close to the very beautiful Kioni for relaxing nights. ||The villas are absolutely stunning. Very beautiful decoration and atmosphere without exaggerations. Also are very well equipped with all necessary accessories, equipment and comforts for a relaxing stay. Just to mention that the villas have full internet coverage inside out, air conditioning in all rooms, laundry machine microwave, big refrigerator and much more. Literally you need to bring nothing except your swimwear. ||The pool is fantastic super clean and very well maintained. The view from the pool and the balconies is amazing and you can spend hours relaxing when the kids go to bed. ||For the end I need to mention the owners hospitality. Two amazing super friendly, always smiling and very polite persons that you come become friends in seconds. I have traveled all over the world this is probably the first time I met owners like them. For sure we will return to Ithaca again as the island is amazing and for sure we will stay at the same place to...
