I would like to write a lot about this great hotel! We visited Laguna in July 2020. Hotel is brand new, opened June 2019, it has only 18 rooms. Small, well maintained, spotless territory. Parking is large, free, across the tiny road. Check in was very fast and someone helped us with our luggage. Room: we booked junior suit with a sea view. Rooms is a good size, not too big but totally enough for 2 people. However, if I had an older child, I would pick a bigger room. Room is spotless, sparkling clean. All the furniture is high quality. Towels are new, soft and a good quality brand. Bed is comfortable, bed sheet are crispy and very nice. Wardrobe is a bit small but, it’s not a big issue. Bathroom is regular size, all new, with walk in shower, great water pressure. Restaurants: one restaurant is on the rooftop and has amazing view, good menu but prices are high. At night, this restaurant becomes lounge-bar and open until 2 am. You can hear music from the terrace in your room but with closed windows it’s not too bad. We did not eat there, just had cocktails, service was very good. Second restaurant is near the beach. Beautiful view, amazing service, really high quality food, we ate there all the time. Prices are average, extensive wine list. Beach is large and very beautiful with small pebbles. Water is crystal clear. Laguna resort actually won award for the cleanest water in the region. There are lots of sun beds and they are very comfortable. Everything is new and clean. Beach waiters are running around all day, you just think of something and you have it. They clean the beach non stop, you won’t find a cigarette butt there or any other dirt. My only problem was the music. Well, it begins at 10 am. and until 12 it’s nice and not too loud. After 12 it becomes louder and at around 17, it’s really loud and disco like. But, by day 3, I kind of got used to it. They operate as a beach club and you have other people there except hotel guests. It gets busy during the weekend. The village is close by, around 1 km. As the hotel accepts visitors of the beach that are not guests of the hotel, you have to reserve a sunbed if you want to get a good one. The beach staff starts working at 10:00. Before this time you can not get towels and your "reserved" sunbeds are already taken by other visitors. The service is disaster. There is a massive free parking. However only 5 spaces have shade. You need to reserve parking spot and negotiate everytime if you dont want your car to be roasted under the sun. 3 of the spots are reserved for the owner. All hotel guests have 10% discount for food and drinks, which waiters forget all the time. Also they put something we didnt order in our bill. At chekout they asked by to double pay one bill that I paid cash. One more thing, is it normal to wait 20mins for a slice of bread?! They didnt inform us in advance that one of the restaurants will not be working, because they dont have a lot of visitors this season. The food and the drinks are great, but 25eur for risotto 200gr - really?! It is impossible to take a rest during the day, because of the load music from the beach bar. 7.The hotel is very clean and the rooms are great, but why I cant switch off the lights in the balcony? Why I have to open a window for ventilation in the bathroom in "5-star" hotel?
