I visited this wonderful place in mid September with my mother, aunt and grandmother. We were looking for a relaxed weekend by the beach and got much more than we were hoping to get.||||The rooms were very clean and pretty spacious. They were equipped with an AC and a safe, two things that you often have to additionally pay for at other apartments/hotels. There was a small, yet well equipped kitchen as well. The bathrooms were a bit small, but clean and well organised. Mine and my mom's room even got a sea view for no additional charges; each room has a small patio or a balcony where you can enjoy breakfast or coffee.||||Aside from the great rooms, there is a beach bar in front of Nemo as well as sun beds that belong to the bar. Hence, you can have a drink and use them for free, which is great. The prices were pretty fair; most coffees were 3 or 3.5 EUR, while Mythos was either 2.5 EUR (small) or 3.5 EUR (big). There is a huge empty space next to Nemo Studios which is used as parking; if you have a room on the higher levels you can see your car from the balcony. :)||||If I have to name three top pros of the place it would be like this:||1. Staff - friendly, welcoming, nice... only good words for them really;||2. WiFi - unlike other places where you have to pray to get connection, I had a perfect WiFi connection throughout the whole "complex" and on the beach too;||3. Location - Nemo Studios is quite close to the centre of Polichrono, but also away from the noise. So, you get a good night sleep, but also you're like a 5-min walk away from the shops and...
Read moreThis review regards the beach bar, not the accommodation. The food and drinks were good, the whole experience not to be repeated. It was our first time in polychrono, third time on kassandra. The staff from the bar told us we have to pay 5€ per sunbed plus drinks. No problem there. Around midday, my husband and the two kinds left for an hour and a half to eat somewhere. The staff from the bar approached me during this time telling me i was one occupying 4 sunbeds. I was shocked. I did not occupy the sunbeds, we paid for them. They told us that if we want to return the next day we should not leave our stuff on the sunbed if we were not always there. We asked if we could reserve the sunbeds. They said no, although there were cards with reserved written on them. When asked about it, they said the reservations were for the friends of the owner only. They said we could return after lunch, but we could sit wherever there was a free sunbed if there were any free left. Since we are a family with two kids, we wanted to sit together, therefore.... the next days, we went somewhere nearby, with no charge for sunbed, no issues for leaving for lunch, and coming back. The staff from Nemo bar gave us a sense of greed and we didn't feel welcome so we decided to avoid...
Read moreWe had a lovely week-long stay at Nemos in July. We loved the sea view, the top-notch cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff and the fact that there were no mosquitos (maybe something to do with all the swallows?)! The air conditioning and WiFi worked perfectly, bed was comfy and fresh, and the kitchen was well-equipped (albeit on the smaller side). In busy periods the water pressure was quite bad, but once you knew what times to avoid for a shower, it was all fine.
The beach in front is a mixture of pebbles and sand. We loved that the beach was so close to the room - we could just go for a dip without taking anything with us. The bar downstairs played lovely ambient music, but from the rooms you couldn’t hear any sound/noise at all, which was perfect.
All in all, would highly recommend for a proper relaxing holiday!
(P.S.: you can watch the sunrise over the sea from the comfort of your bed!...
