We love sea food and came by recommendation with a one year old baby. Sat on the table 6:30pm and have ordered: one moussaka, grilled shrimps, grilled squid, greek salad, one ouzo, one beer and a glass of wine. Moussaka and the shrimps were lovable and we enjoyed them, but the squid and greek salad were very disappointing. Asked several time for the wi fi since the baby was impatient and we wanted to play something on phone just to finish eating but they were too busy to give it to us and we ended packing the food for to go just because we didn’t wanted to make noises around and interrupt everyone. Server first forget to give us the bill and ask us to pay saying he gave it to us, than asked the guy next to us if he had our bill and even after that went to take new one. We paid and later we saw that they have charged us for more things (as we can see from the bill) and can not define what are they since everything...
Read moreThis place is a hidden gem. We went for a dinner around 20:30 on Thursday but there wasn't available table. The waiter suggested to wait for a while because some people were about to pay the bill. After 5 min we were sited and menu was brought immediately. We ordered stuffed wine leaves, tzatziki, pork souvlaki and pork ribs. Everything was very tasty. Main dishes come with fried patatoes and rice as a garnish. They also serve complimentary small apetizers on the house (when sited) and mini ice creams (when you ask for the bill). All waiters are very polite and attentive, and speak English. Portions are of good size and prices are very reasonable (the cheapest dinner we had in Polichrono). Overall, really good quality food and service for the price. I highly recommend this tavern if you are not looking for a sea view. Thank you very much and keep up...
Read morepretty much a super popular location. we waited about 15-20 minutes for them to take our order. another 20 to bring drinks and some bread and some sauce. and then probably another 1 hour to bring the food, which they brought in 3 rows. Greek salad first. then the fried clams and pasta with tomatoes, and only late, grilled squid. in the Greek salad, the tomatoes were greener than the cucumbers in it. it also had a boiled egg, a little surprised here. the pasta and mussels were ok, but the squid, besides the fact that we waited 1 hour, was like the sole of a park hard and rubbery, you could barely eat it. poor...
