One of the best hotels that we have been in Europe and for sure the best in Greece. The hotel has 3 stars but it deserves 4, even 5, compared to the rest in Greece. It has all the needed for a pleasant stay.
We stayed for 6 nights there and really enjoyed a lot of things in the hotel - the amazing view that we got from our 3rd floor room, the very friendly staff who are young and smiled people, the very clean beach with volleyball/football fields and a beach bar and the nice pool-bar that one can enjoy the whole day.
The hotel offers breakfast that is very delicious and there is a good variety every day. There is no restaurant, however, the bar offers salads, burgers, pizzas and snacks so you will not get hungry.
The beach is literally across the not-busy street. Paralia is 20 mins walking and Olympic beach is 10 mins walking. In both places there are some nice taverns that everyone can enjoy for a dinner.
The rooms of the hotel are cleaned daily, towels and sheets changed daily. The room and the hotel itself are very new and furnished with a modern furniture. There is a huge free parking right next to the building so everyone can be calm about his/her car.
What more to say - next time we know where we will stay without...
Read moreI’ve had a great experience at this hotel. I was so pleasantly surprised; top breakfast with lots of options to choose from, fresh and tasty; clean rooms, staff very helpful and nice ( ladies check out the night shift- a true greek mountain at reception 🤭) outdoor pool is heaven (literally) not only that is a refugee spot during windy days with agitated sea, but also is comfortable with the bar next to the pool: you can have a drink, order light food(burgers, fries, pizza etc) and there is a toilet right outside the hotel - surely everyone wants to know this 😁. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but it serves basic fast food( like I previously mentioned); the food is good and it is a quick option. Also the hotel is half way between Paralia and Sunny Beach( a bit closer), so you can have other food options there. For me it was the best hotel around- the fact that you just need to cross the street and you are at the best( also private beach of the hotel with staff services) was also a bonus. Nevertheless, I have no doubt that I will return here - i still have a lot to see in this area and I am so happy I found a new favourite spot in Greece ( also cats lovers will feel in...
Read more⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the Giannoulis team overall — every time I’ve visited, it’s been a wonderful experience. The staff have always been respectful, warm, and welcoming.
However, this holiday we had two extremely unpleasant encounters that left a bitter taste. There’s a man — a supposed "manager" of the beach sunbeds, around his 50s — who clearly has no idea how to treat guests. He approached me very harshly and rudely just because I had a small snack due to a medical issue with blood sugar, and again when we had some essentials for my little niece.
Not only was his behavior aggressive and unprofessional, but he also showed clear racist undertones — something I have never experienced before in all my years in Greece, including past visits to this same hotel.
Frankly, he deserves 1 out of 100,000. If Giannoulis wants to maintain its great reputation, this man should not be in a customer-facing role.
To the rest of the team: thank you for continuing to provide excellent service. Everyone else remains...
