I stayed here with my family on our vacation in Greece, kind of in transit between different areas, and am so glad we did. The owner of the hotel was so friendly and welcoming - she made our stay special and did everything she could to take care of our needs. The town of Loutra Ipatis seemed to be more geared to Greek travelers than foreigners, but we felt like we got a taste of the "real" Greece that many visitors may not see. ||||The hotel itself is fairly basic, but spotlessly clean, clearly cared for with love, and an excellent value for the price. We had a balcony overlooking the leafy main square of the town. Breakfast was more than generous - more than we could begin to eat! There is a lovely restaurant just down the street from the hotel and serving delicious regional specialties. Also, the village of Ipatis, just a few minutes away, is also worth a visit. We had dinner at a friendly taverna just before the village center - hardly a word of English spoken, but again so friendly and welcoming, and a spectacular view.
