I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Sofia in Lefkada! The hotel is in an ideal location – quiet and relaxing, yet close to everything you need. The highlight for me was the breathtaking view from the balcony: endless blue sea during the day and unforgettable sunrises in the morning. ||Everything was spotlessly clean and well taken care of, which made the stay even more comfortable. The hospitality of the owners truly made the difference – they are so kind, warm, and genuinely friendly, making you feel like you’re at home from the very first moment. 💙||The breakfast was a lovely experience too – fresh, tasty, and with options that give you the perfect start to the day. And if you’re lucky enough, you might even get to taste their delicious local handmade desserts, which were an absolute treat! ||The outside of the hotel is just as charming – the flowers around the property are so well taken care of, adding color and fragrance, while the traditional stairs leading up to the rooms give the whole place a unique and authentic beauty. ||There’s also easy parking which is super convenient, and I loved being able to just sit on the balcony, enjoy the calmness, and soak in the stunning scenery.||If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay in Lefkada with amazing views, true Greek hospitality, and great comfort, I can’t recommend Hotel...

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Sofia in Lefkada! The hotel is in an ideal location – quiet and relaxing, yet close to everything you need. The highlight for me was the breathtaking view from the balcony: endless blue sea during the day and unforgettable sunrises in the morning.

Everything was spotlessly clean and well taken care of, which made the stay even more comfortable. The hospitality of the owners truly made the difference – they are so kind, warm, and genuinely friendly, making you feel like you’re at home from the very first moment.

As we checked in the receptionist asked us to pay €31 to cover any damage cost. He then stated this is the hotel policy and we would be refunded upon check in out of the hotel. As we checked out the hotel, the owner only refunded us back €20. When questioned the hotel owner he stated the €11 was for the local tax. Although €11 is not going to hurt my bank balance, it’s the basic principle, when booking the hotel via Expedia, the taxes are included (see attached screenshot) Also the rooms do not have tea and coffee facilities (coffee sachets, sugar, tea) and the parking is very limited. Also the buffet breakfast is very basic. The shower facility in the rooms are very tinny and the shower curtain is not adequate. The owner of the hotel cannot accept responsibility or improve on negative faults, but rather than listen to improve his facility/hospitality, he is far distanced from accepting constructive criticism. For £66 per night at a discounted price, I’ve stayed in a 3 star hotel in Vegas for $40 with a pool and a casino. If you wanna to compare your...
