In a 7 nights stay the sheets were not changed because the owner asked 25 euros to change them although her husband had told us on the phone they change them every 3 days. The towels were changed once. In the photos you see the rules and she doesn’t refer to how often they are changed. When we arrived even though we had agreed on the price and sent the deposit she had asked from us in a minute by bank transfer, she ashamed us telling us that she is usually giving the rooms for 60 euros more than the amount agreed for the night and she wanted to call us and tell it but she was too “embarrassed” to do it. All these without a welcome. The first thing she asked was to give her a ID and the rest of the money to be settled right the moment we were holding our luggage in a hot day. When we told her that we had to find an ATM downtown she told us that she would be waiting for us to get the money that night because many people have left without paying in other hotels in the area. We were a decent couple with 2 kids, with the presentation of an ID and she took us for scammers? We felt like we were talking with a person that has no sense of hospitality and Greek filotimo. She even mentioned we were very lucky to have the apartment because there was a cancellation and she doesn’t “work” with Greek clients. She accepts only people from abroad… We were very much offended and we only stayed because we didn’t want to ruin the vacations of our children searching in the heat for another hotel. I have to admit that the apartment was spotless, the pool was amazing ( although noisy from the pouring water all day and night long) and the garden very cool. On the other hand, this lady charges or wants to charge a big sum per night when the mattress of the king bed needs replacement as well as the linen (torn sheet, hard towels and uncomfortable pillows). If we lost the button for the entrance in the garage we would pay 50 euros!!! And many many rules we had to sign a paper for agreement to them. I would not return even if it was for free because of her behaviour. We felt we were being watched because she told us she had a camera by the pool. We are clients to be respected not pupils in a boarding school. Worst behaviour ever and I have travelled all over Greece and abroad in hundreds of hotels. Money was the big issue because when we gave it she didn’t annoy us at all. Apart from that first afternoon, we tried to enjoy our stay without making complaints even though the quiet hours weren’t being followed by her other clients or the cleaning staff.
Updated answer to her answer: And yes, it is true that my husband is temporarily unemployed . I never thought that i would have to be blamed for that and such a GDPR point of my husband's professional status be exposed in internet. This is illegal!!!!! Should I talk with a lawyer about this exposure? Is it prohibited for unemployed people to go on holiday especially when their spouse works all year long and not just in summer? The price was primarily 110 euros on phone and I asked for a 10 euros discount per night due to the situation... i dont think it is a shame on me or my family as this "lady" implies. Just proudness! I wish your family members never find themselves in this situation ESPECIALLY since you give money such an important role in your life. Your answer tells a lot and people will...

I missed a key request to pay the balance in cash. ATMs are plentiful but rates are poor. Many of the shops & bars prefer cash, especially for smaller value spend. That said, we paid for all our meals on card without difficulty.||And look out for the little boat trips just to the right of the wooden bridge on town, they offer trips to the beach near the castle (€5 per person, including beach mats & umbrella) and an evening Sunset trip (€6 per person). Read moreThese are very nice well maintained apartments owned by a very nice couple. The rooms are large, clean and the main bedroom has a comfortable king bed. The kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials to self cater. Bed linen and towels were changed and the rooms cleaned four times during our two week stay and rubbish bins emptied daily. Its not essential to have a car but the walk to the town's main square does take a good 20 to 25 minutes. There are several bicycles at the apartments which are free of charge to use however they don't appear to be maintained and we did not risk using them. The swimming pool was beautiful and really clean and there were always plenty of sun loungers available. Whilst this is a small complex only eight appartments unfortunately during our stay the other guests were not the most friendly and the pool area was often a raucous mayhem of young kids, teenagers and their parents shouting and screaming, jumping and having water fights sometimes late into the evening. Having said that I'm sure that it's not always the case and overall we had a great stay at...
