Plagia's Sunset Apartments — Hotel in Lefkada Municipality

It's been five months since we visited Plagias Sunset Apartment and the warm feeling we harvested then never faded, or it will.

We were the last couple in the apartment in the second half of the Septembar and few days in October. First of all the accommodation looks even better in person! We were situated in the lowest apartment with great terrace and little garden with impeccable view! The house was very clean and cozy, kitchen had everything you could ever need, the bedroom was big and the beds very comfy, we were really feeling like at home!

Few days after we arrived some guests occupied the floor above us and it was never a problem. We really like our privacy, quiet and calm accomodations and Plagia delivered just that. The balcony on the second floor is a bit bigger and above lower floor so you couldn't really hear or see much of the other guests, even though we were very skeptic about renting apartment (this is the first time we didn't book the entire house in Greece).

The house is situated above Exanthia so you can enjoy the view of this lovely village on the right, and you can see Kalamitsi on the left, along with the sea horizont in the back and sunsets in the evening, it was just perfect! The BEST restaurant in Lefkada is on the next hill from you (five minute walk) and you can hear some cool music in the evening but never too late so that you can't sleep, everything was just about right!

There is small pastry shop within the village, two taverns and the restaurant, local shop is about 4-5 minutes away by car and yes, you will always need a car in Lefkada wherever you are :)

Pavlos, the host: I can't say more kind words for Pavlos and his sons with who we communicated long before coming to Exanthia, from April to September. They were all very helpful with guiding us to the apartment (very easy to find), leaving all of their contacts for us and eventually welcoming us in their lovely accomodation. Mr Pavlos showed us the house the moment we arrived, gave us few advices considering local food, restaurant and things to see and welcomed us with beautiful wine from Lefkada! We were getting clean towels and sheets every two days along with some little gifts for the two of us, it was so lovely! The communication, the cleanliness, amenities, we would give five stars for each category, the best host we ever met on our holidays!

Along with beautiful beaches 15-30 minutes away, the scenery and landscape, the food and the people we met, this was a dream vacation we will always remember and will be something special for the rest of our lives, we are definitely coming back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Plagia's Sunset Apartments in Lefkada, and it was an incredible experience! Our host, Pavlos, was fantastic—very welcoming and always ready to help with anything we needed.

We stayed in the Deluxe apartment, and it was amazing. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, and the living room was really spacious. It was extremely clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. We especially enjoyed having our breakfast and dinner on the spacious terrace, which offered an amazing view.

The apartment is situated at the highest point of the village, providing the best view of the sunsets. The sunsets here are truly a separate story—they are absolutely breathtaking.

Amazing place! It is great for groups of friends and people with kids. Every room is nice in itself but they also have their own bathroom. You don't see that often! That helps to keep privacy and if you bring kids , that gives every family their space to take care of the kid and else without feeling stress about affecting the others. We were 3 couples, 2 of them with kids,staying in the middle apartment (second from top or bottom) and it was so easy. The place has sun in both sides to chill and if you close the doors kids have a lot of space to walk around safely. The view is also amazing and you get everywhere by car in a similar time, very central. The bakery near by is also worth the visit....
