Definitely the worst hotel I came across. The staff was awful and rude! We booked over the Internet, we liked the photos and the location, but when we arrived we fount something different!! Like back to the future - back to 70s !!! Really I don't have words to explain what we found. The hotel is shabby, dirty, hot and noisy. The bathrooms are unbelievable and dirty and the sheets were also dirty with plenty of hair from the previous guests... The landings are filthy. Uncomfortable beds with springs coming out of mattress. All this would be accepatble if the price were that of a hostel, but a hefty 50 euros without breakfast is a real ripoff..Pictures looked great online which lead to total disappointment when we rocked up. It was a good 15 minute walk from the ferry port. Doesn't sound far but when it's one of the hottest months and you are dragging luggage it's a bit of a trek. We had a room that wasn't even facing the street but you could hear other guests coming and going up and down the corridor and slamming their doors. The breakfast room was TINY and cramped and the selection was rubbish. We booked for 3 nights but after the second we left and went somewhere...
Read moreoverall, an exceptional value for money, the hotel is located in the centre of Myrina, just next to the pedestrian street. ||the building itself is built in 1967 and havent's seen any serious update since then. still, it is properly maintained and very very clean. the bed linen were super clean and the towels as well. ||There is no breakfast available but you have a lot of options nearby ( from the masoutis supermarket to any street corner cafe). |you can park the car on the streets nearby, not always in fron of the hotel but in walking distance. ||the hotel staff is very very friendly and helpful - and the owner looks really alike to Agatha Christie in her senior years. Somehow it fits very well with the hotel. ||An elevator is available and you should request a room at the third floor on the back of the hotel - so you will be able to have a nice view to the castle. ||the only "not so nice" things are the beds that are 1,2m wide which is really small for two people. ||All in all a nice experience & many thanks...
Read moreWe booked Sevdali for two nights, literally in the last moment. The staff were helpful and accommodating, the room was clean and serviced daily. There was functioning WiFi, air condition, and everything one would expect from a hotel of this category. The location is superb, right in the middle of the town. ||On the negatives, I would mention the uncomfortable shower (no curtain, which means the floor was wet all the time) and the somewhat old, difficult-to-shut bathroom door. I also didn't like the fact that neighboring balconies are separated by an easy-to-scale separator.||Still, though, a great choice for someone traveling on a budget and looking for a place to sleep and take a bath in the very center of the...
