WOW WOW WOW. Greek Hospitality Personified!!! Email contact to let them know arrival and ferry time, we were picked up from the port by a lovely lady. She explained the amenities in the town as she drove us to the accommodation. She gave us a bottle of water and some yummy homemade cake. An hour or two later she fed us Octopus stew with Potatoes OMG what a taste sensation. As for the room, it's clean and all you need for a good night's sleep. The bathroom is small, but again clean and adequate. We certainly don't come to Greece to spend all our time indoors. Who are the people who come to Greece expecting 5 * on a 2* budget? Stay away or don't post reviews. There is a saying all over the world, if you haven't anything nice to say don't say anything at all. If you have an issue explain to the owner don't disrespect their hard work, give them the opportunity to rectify the problem! This is their lively hood you are demeaning. Lovely place, lovely people....

This accommodation seems to operate on the business model that if you plan to visit the island in August, you had better book by April. Anyone looking later will likely end up here – with a place that is below average and makes little effort to create a welcoming or pleasant atmosphere. The furniture looks like a random collection from a junk yard, the mattress was hard and uncomfortable, dry leaves were scattered all over the courtyard, and the room doors didn’t close properly. The “highlight” – in the most ironic sense – was a poorly assembled wardrobe, where opening the door also pulled open the bottom drawer. It wasn’t filthy, but certainly not properly clean either. The hostess’s gestures (some cake and a bit of watermelon) felt anything but genuine. The room itself looked like a storage space that had simply been monetized. Abbiamo scelto la struttura Miramare per le ottime recensioni ed il costo contenuto ma ci ha deluso totalmente. Abbiamo contattato la struttura pochi giorni prima del nostro arrivo per comunicare l'ora di arrivo e per chiarire alcuni dubbi che avevamo (presenza o meno della biancheria e possibilità di utilizzare una lavatrice). Non abbiamo ricevuta alcuna risposta. La proprietaria si è fatta comunque trovare al porto per accompagnarci in macchina alla struttura. L'appartamento era molto piccolo per 3 persone, tanto che il tavolo e le sedie erano presenti solo sul terrazzo (purtroppo non era possibile utilizzarli all'ora di pranzo per il troppo caldo). Gli arredi molto vecchi e mal tenuti, molte ragnatele e ragni (anche di notevoli dimensioni!). L'angolo cottura presente e le stoviglie non permettevano di cucinare, soprattutto a causa dell'odore che usciva dal mobile in cui erano riposte. Ai letti non era presente alcuna presa elettrica né punto luce. Letto matrimoniale molto piccolo (stretto e corto) e scomodo, lettino singolo inutilizzabile (si potevano sentire nella schiena le molle del materasso!) Non era presente alcun elemento oscurante (né tende né persiane) alle due porte finestre, di cui una esposta a sud. Quindi ogni mattina alle 6 eravamo già tutti svegli. La tenda del bagno terribilmente sporca (l'abbiamo annodata per evitare di toccarla accidentalmente). Un giorno siamo rientrati alle 13.30 e le pulizie non erano ancora state fatte. Era presente una lavatrice nel bagno, ma abbiamo poi capito che questa non poteva essere utilizzata dagli ospiti (la spina era staccata e serviva una prolunga per poterla attaccare alla presa più vicina). Per raggiungere l'appartamento dovevamo passare prima accanto al tavolo di altri ospiti, poi letteralmente attraverso i loro panni stesi.. Anche se non pranzavamo all'appartamento la proprietaria ogni giorno al nostro rientro ci inseguiva con piatti da lei cucinati. Al momento della riconsegna delle chiavi ci ha esplicitamente chiesto una recensione da 10. Purtroppo tutti questi problemi non possono essere giustificati dal basso costo. Abbiamo viaggiato molto in Grecia, ed a questo prezzo abbiamo trovato strutture...
