Kristallis Bakery — Restaurant in Lipsi Municipality

We relied upon Kristallis for fresh bread and occasional pies and pizza during our stay on Leipsi. The staff was friendly and helpful, explaining every time what kinds of products they had that day, as the choices varied day to day. The pizza was tasty, the pies were traditional and very well prepared, the bougatsa was delicious and the bread was always fresh. Several varieties of bread were available every day. Take away only. They were sweet with children. More of a place to walk to up the hill in the village as parking is wherever. Wheelchair accessible....

A real traditional bakery, no English spoken, piles of wood outside must use wood fired ovens still, lovely fresh rolls, even ones you can eat without an expensive trip to the dentist, Greeks like their bread hard! Lovely spanakopita, and the poor staff, it's like a furnace inside, 85° outside, 100°+ inside. None of the fancy cream cakes, you can get that at the other bakery in the harbour, just a great, old style...
