Cannot definitely call it a 4 star hotel. Due to certain reasons. Quality of rooms: poor, everything is old. Extremely old and dirty hair dryer, air conditioner and TV. TV was unsafely settled in the wall. WiFi is almost not available. None in the room. Phone signal as well. Usage of local P.C. is 3 euro/hour (really puzzling). Semi-broken plates in the restaurant can be found, need to pay attention to what you take. The juice included into Standard AllInclusive as they call it, is not the juice (they offer some powder like concentrate). Want better? Pay. Usage of beds at a seaside is charged additionally. When in the town of Plakias you just need to buy some drink from a restaurant responsible for certain beds at the seaside brought to you right on the beach and you can use the bed for free. Tea and coffee are of low quality. Food in All-Inclusive standard package was ok, but not impressive. You cannot get fruits all day, just a sandwich and ice cream, certain drinks from the list. Don’t recommend. Only the view is really nice but you can get it for free along the seaside. Parking: find yourself. Not reserved for guests. To weigh your luggage you need to pay 1 Euro 🙈 there is a mini shop at the location. Prices are much higher than in the town. But, you need to have a car to drive to the town. It’s pretty far away to walk. However cleaning ladies work hard, always helpful. They are probably the most hard-working, as well as the waiters and the man who was cooking fresh dishes (like fried eggs) in the restaurant area. Looked really exhausted but tried his best out of the products he had. As a summary, I think the owner should be more responsible and caring about the clients, not trying to get every extra penny for simple service that should exist in a 4 star hotel. Otherwise, I’d rather recommend to rent apartments in the area - less expensive, less disappointment.

Five stars ***** for the views and location - the hotel is beautifully located amongst the rocks and you can swim in a small rocky bay next to the cliff - which gives you amazing feeling, only for that - it is really worth the be there! You also have a small diving centre at the beach so you can also explore the sea underwater, they say there are some interesting wrecks nearby Three stars *** for the food - decent, a bit monotonous but really ok Two stars ** for the rooms - look old (some more than others), require refurbishment, especially bathrooms, do not take the ground floor room, it took a battle to change it but it was unacceptable Two stars ** for the service - staff is trying to be nice but is not well trained or cannot overcome logistics and infrastructural challenges (room service is only available until 4 so after that hour no way to change / clean the room / get The towel / kettle, staff will not tell you that to rent a car you need cash and then you have difficult situation with a car rental, all decisions are taken only by the manager who is not always there, you paid for all-inclusive package but you dont drink alcohol and the bartender does not want to give you lemon in Your water because it is reserved for drinks, etc) So overall - on average 3/5 but for sure worth to go there for the views!

The place is stunning! Beautiful location. The ‘all inclusive’ is a load of bullshit! Cheap quality drinks (even the coke and lemonade was poor in the pool bar) with no ‘common’ drinks included. Eg Malibu, gin, mythos etc all extras. Not all inclusive. The cocktails were DIABOLICAL, watered down and grim! Food- I personally can’t complain much about it, having grown up going to Greece for holidays, I like the delicacy! However I wouldn’t say it was hygienic. However nor is Toby carvery. Staff, check in was so slow. BUT jack. The entertainer was the life and soul of the holiday! We loved him! Came and sat with us in evenings, by the pool, and pushed everyone to engage in Waterpolo or volleyball. Taught him how to play cheat and he was good so keep an eye out if you play with him!! The Rooms were basic but nothing out of the ordinary for the price we paid! £850 pp including flights, seats on plane. You 100% need a hire car or taxi service is required if you want to leave the property. We went into Plakias most evenings and loved it. Great gyros’ and bars! I only booked the hotel for the beach/natural pool! Having been in years prior! And again, ur didn’t disappoint. Definitely a key factor for people booking i’d say.

This hotel isn't for families with very small children or people, specially eldery, who have problems with mobility. Because the bungalows are all over the property on hill, looks like inside the mountain. You have to not only to walk, but walk up and down, up and down :) But that didn't bother me :) Because it's not situated on a flat ground you have such beautiful landscape views of rocks and sea... So be prepared of some walking with your filled up stomach after having a very tasty dinner in the hotel restaurant.||Besides there is no beach next to the hotel. Only a small, but very picturesque bay, where you can snorkle or even learn diving. You also have matresses and sun umbrellas, which you can use for free. The colour of the water there is awesome! ||If you want to go to the beach you have 2 options:||- take the hotel bus (paying some fee) to Plakias ||- or go on your own to a much nicer in my opinion beach in Damnoni. This will take you about 30 min. with many stops, because of taking pictures. The views you have on your way there are beautiful. There is awide path in the middle of the mountain cliff, so you can reach the beach. Prepare to take good shoes though, as walking in flip-flops mightn not be that good idea :) But the journey both ways is worth it!||I was in May and it was quite hot, but during the summer months when the real heat is on - this walk might not be as that pleasant. ||The room we had was nicely decorated with a big terrace, though the bathroom could me more up to dated. Overall it was clean.||The staff was friendly and helpful, specially the barman at the lobby :)||The hotel was renovated about two years ago, with the lovely pirate boat next to the main swimming pool, as well the've built 2 smaller swimming pools, where you can relax and take wonderful photos - as if you were in Bali for holiday :) lol.||Besides in the evening there are lamps on the mountains, which change colours, which makes the whole hotel area very, very romantic and special.||Also if you like mountain walking - there are many paths you can walk and relax!||||The hotel isn't for people who needs to go out very night to the club or do some shopping, or as I mentioned above have problems with mobility. But if you're looking for peace and quite, something romantic and very different - you'll just...

What about this hotel? There are both positive aspects but also many negatives that should be improved: let's start by saying that the location of the hotel is very suggestive, it is a structure set in the middle of the mountain surrounded only by nature, therefore a beautiful panorama. The structure, however, results in many of its buildings a little neglected, the rooms are nice, but the beds were hard and uncomfortable, and the blankets, especially in the double bed, too rough, so much so that they caused an irritation to the back of a friend of mine. The position of the rooms is such that it does not take either the telephone line or the wi-fi signal arrives, a significant particular that should be mentioned at the time of booking. I recommend not to bring any laptop with you because the safe in the room (with a physical key) is so small that at most you can fit your wallet or mobile phone. The cleaning of the room takes place thoroughly (with change of blankets and towels) only every two or three days, and one evening we happened not to be able to take a shower in time for dinner because the cleaning lady came by at 19:30 in the evening to fix it. The staff at the reception are courteous, like the one in the dining room, even if they are not always attentive to taking orders. It is possible to eat both buffet and à la carte, having taken an all inclusive we have always eaten at the buffet which I'm sorry to say but most of the time being of medium / low quality ...then the outdoor table area where you eat is infested with wasps so much that they go as far as in the room where there is the buffet and at breakfast time they attack the whole "sweet" area even in the open containers where you could get the jam I happened to find dead wasps inside. Often there was no cutlery or glasses and you have to wait for the waiters to come and restock them. The pools on the other hand are very nice, and clean, with a nice location, but the sunbeds are old and with umbrellas often broken or pierced. The only outlet to the sea with sunbeds and umbrellas present in the structure, that we thought included, we then discovered to be apart and you had to pay to be able to stay there. On the other hand, the prices are good and...

This hotel definitely does not deserve 4 stars. I spent 10 days here and I’m really disappointed. The quality of service we received was definitely not at the all inclusive level.

The staff at the reception is impolite and unhelpful - I asked them for help with a few things, i.e. lack of hot water problem, and I was left with no reply. The reception is terribly organized in terms of check in.

The staff serving during the meals is friendly but they don’t keep the tables and covers clean, they ask you once at the beginning if you want something to drink and don’t care about you later on.

Housekeeping leaves the windows to your room open every time they clean it not minding your belongings in the room. The towels are changed only every 3 days and when you ask for replacement because they’re dirty, you will receive an impolite comment from the reception that “you have to keep in mind that it’s their policy”.

The rooms are old, they look much worse in real life. The worst are the dirty, stinky bathrooms. There is a shower in the bathroom which you can’t use because there’s no water outflow, the bathtub’s faucet is leaking and the handles are falling off.

The food is just fine but they served almost the same thing every night. The questionable all-inclusive service gives you the option to “enjoy” only a few types of alcohol and artificial sweet juices. The quality of the food is also questionable. I got sick and was vomiting for 2 days which happened to other people from the hotel too.

The area around the swimming pools is dirty and no one takes care of it. The swimming pool has green coating on its walls which makes it slimy in touch.

The wifi in this place is a joke - you can't count on it working in the room (and I had a superior room closest to the reception). There is no service in the hotel area and you can’t make phone calls so proper working wi-fi should be a standard but their internet connection doesn’t even work around reception.

The two stars are mainly for the views and the hotel location - it’s a nice and calm place to spend time with your family.

Unfortunately, the money spent on this trip was a waste. The standard that the hotel offers is much less than what they want you...
