Hotel Galaxias — Hotel in Municipality of Agrinio

The hotel might be old but it is in the heart of the city, in a walk distance from all amenities and the main square with the shops and restaurants. Amazing staff! First time in my life we had such a great experience with the staff! Very friendly and very keen to meet all our needs!! Mr. Christos, Mrs. Christina and Sofia were available at all times to provide us the best possible service!! Good breakfast! Highly recommended for few days for business trip. Not very convenient for families… rooms are rather small… There are a few things which can be improved… the rooms need to be renovated… bed is not exactly double to feet a couple… the bathroom is very small… difficult to feet if you are not an x-small size :) (hot water at all times is a plus though!). An unpleasant smell in the rooms like smoke.. maybe because everything is too old… a little bit noisy (applies for the rooms that see the road…). Due to the extraordinary good experience we had with the staff, all the minor disadvantages of the room were not faced so unpleasantly… |Not forget to mention that there is also a small parking next...

😊: Great location right in the center. They also allowed me to store my bicycle in their small storage room behind the reception (barely fit 1 bike so not really an option for bigger groups). AC worked well and there was a small fridge in the room.. 😢: There was only 1 electrical socket in the room and none in the bathroom. The WiFi was pretty patchy at least where I was staying - ended up using my data during the stay.

Finally, as many others have mentioned aswell the rooms can be pretty worn down and dated. Mine had some cracks in the walls and the paint was peeling off. Also apparently the tap water is not drinkable in the building, but the Receptionist gave me free bottles when I...

Not great...single bed...and bathroom is tiny...could step into the shower from the door. Also the walls are thin so anything that was happeningin bathroom or room next door could be heard. The drinking glass in bathroom was filthy and carpet in room was worn due to walking of the guests. Stayed three nights for a conference in the area. On the second night I decided that I go out to buy a bottle of water. Got into the lift and there was an overwhelming smell of diesel/petrol.I had to get back out and use the stairs. Staff were very nice. Breakfast...
