Elia studios — Hotel in Municipality of Amorgos

In 2009, we had the pleasure of spending June, July and August in the middle townhouse of this beautiful triplex. We loved this well-appointed home away from home: clean, in the midst of an olive grove, steps from the secluded part of Aeigali’s beautiful beach, a well-supplied kitchen, 2 bathrooms, one up one down, 2 shaded decks one up, with an outstanding view, one down. It was everything we needed and more. In 2013 we returned for two weeks with friends to celebrate a big birthday and used all three suites. A perfect setting for a group of friends and family. We are so pleased that our hosts are once again managing their triplex. They cleaned and refreshed weekly, helped us get to and from the ferry, answered all our questions, gave us advice, connected us with local resources and made sure we had everything we needed. a middling 3* overall to reflect some great aspects, and some considerable downsides / tradeoffs. good stuff is mostly outside: well situated, short walk to the beautiful beach of Aigiali, incl. decent breakfast and basic hotel facilities at Lakki, aircon, local family owned and managed, daily clean, least night noise from the revelries, fig trees in the garden. trade-offs are mostly inside: nowhere near the standard fit and kit of a place charging €200± per night; rough mattresses; no window nets to protect from the abundant mosquitos; poor kitchen equipment; difficult car access; the walking path through the olive grove to the beach is a fouled stretch that could easily be tidied but isn't. didn't get in the way of us having a good time on Amorgos, but it's more a tolerable and...

I have stayed in this location multiple times over the past ten years. At different times of the year. It is an amazing spot, very quiet all times of the day. Beautiful garden, nice balconies, great views. The sea is so close, clean and beautiful. the apartments are fully stocked with everything you need. bathrooms on both floors. ideal for a relaxing time with family or friends or even alone. it is close enough to aigiali, to the beach to bars, shops etc but at the same time it feels like you are secluded away from everything with peace and quiet.
