Pinelopi Beach Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Apokoronas

The Penelopi Beach Suites in Kavros are run by a local family, just next to their Gyrogiali Beach Bar. The beach is well known for its length (walks), amazing stones and seashells and rip currents (there are lifeguards on spot every day). ||It is a quiet, intimate and beautiful place to spend holidays with family or friends. It is also a good starting spot for excursions around the island with starting points in Kavros by train (Kaveos is just 10 minute beach walk from the Suites). You can also ask the owners and arrange renting a car for the duration of your stay.||The Suites are spacious and very comfortable, each with a bathroom and a kitchenette plus basic equipment. Beautiful sea view from balconies.||Now, the taverna is…simply something amazing. Breakfast is included and it is difficult to choose from the variety of choices. From lunch time you can enjoy traditional Cretan delicacies: mezze, lamb, grilled meat and seafood), the best grilled dorada in the world all accompanied by fresh salads prepared with home grown vegetables. House wine and other drinks and soft drinks. There is a rich choice of ice cream, not only for children ;)||We’ve been there twice and we will come back...

Beautiful hotel, directly at the beach. Rooms exactly as in the photos, very clean and beds are cozy. We arrived at night and even though the beach bar was closed already, the receptionist organized us some great food and drinks. He also borrowed us a phone charger after my suitcase got lost at the airport. So service couldn't be better, everyone's extremely friendly. Breakfirst is nice and a great value for price. Location is directly at the beach with great view on the sea. 10 Min walk to supermarkets, restaurants and shops (walking time on Google Maps is wrong!). We loved it here, thanks for everything. Beautiful seafront accommodation, exactly as advertised, 5min drive from Georgiopolis with a beachfront bar & restaurant. Spacious for 2 adults and a child; kitchen has all the basics needed, fridge, stove, kettle & coffee makers, pan, cutlery & crockery; friendly owner, free parking.
