Pelithea Aparthotel — Hotel in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for a 2 nights stay at this hotel. It was on sale on booking so it suited our budget. After a hard time finding the property, which wasn't found on the location set on booking, upon arrival we were presented with the unit, which was not as nice as shown in the photos, there was no bathtub in the bathroom (which was really small 1sqm), and the whole place smelled like mould, you could also notice wet areas on the walls. We discussed this with the host who tried to convince us that the unit was ok. We asked to be moved to a room that was as per the booking and she said that she could not give us bigger room for the price we had paid and that there wasn't any availability whatsoever( we have to mention here that the only other option on 2 bhk was exactly the same but with breakfast included ) . She continued by saying nobody complained before and: look at the reviews. When I told her I would not forget to mention anything in my review she became mad and started screaming: "who are you to threaten me in my property?!?!". She left and came back in a minute saying we could cancel the booking and she would approve the full refund. She was really pushing us to do so, and although it was very late and us and the kids were tired from a long trip it was obvious that we couldn't stay there, and not because of the conditions but because of the host's behaviour.||We cancelled and left the unit, hearing the host talk to her husband in greek, hate language towards our nationality behind us.||We left the property and went looking for a different accommodation, which wasn't easy because most of the hotels in Corfu were closed. In a while we received a refund confirmation from booking of only 6 euro (only the city tax). We called her and she told us we needed to follow up with booking ourselves. ||We figured out that she would not willingly refund the full amount, so we headed to the local police to report the case. After a few phone calls between the police and her, where she presented different scenarios, and defamed me to them saying that she would sue me, not explaining what for, we were told by the police to follow up with booking and return if not successful.||We feel like what happened with this host, ruined the whole Corfu experience, and we would not want the same to happen to anyone Please don't destroy your holidays!!!||Honestly the whole Corfu was a real dumpster, invaded by trash, with narrow and bumpy roads, unsafe tap water, mosquitoes, etc .. In my opinion it is better not to enter inland at all. You can see the seaside...

This is a lovely hotel that is a great base for couples or families.|The pool and garden area are lovely with an outdoor play area for children and lots of toys for the pool.|There are plenty of sunbeds and parasols and also tables and chairs if you want to sit up.|The pool bar serves great food and they also serve breakfast outside.|The main issue is location as the views are stunning but you need a car or similar here. The only restaurants, bar and shops are a 10-15 minute walk away and its hilly and hot.|The air con in the rooms is fab and the rooms are well equipped.|Oddly no teaspoons or bowls in the kitchen but everything else, washing machine, coffee machine, sandwich toaster, microwave,...

Nie polecam tego miejsca! Wynajęliśmy na 2 noce i całe szczęście, że tylko na dwie. Z obsługą tego miejsca nie było żadnego kontaktu. Dostawałam wyłącznie automatyczne wiadomości z instrukcją jak dotrzeć na miejsce oraz na koniec pobytu. Na żadną moją wiadomość nie otrzymałam odpowiedzi. Nie mam uwag co do lokalizacji, bo rezerwując zdawaliśmy sobie sprawę, że wymaga posiadania auta. Brak recepcji. Otoczenie budynków zaniedbane. Mieliśmy pokój na parterze. Mieszkanie składało się z kuchni połączonej z częścią dzienną (rozkładaną sofą i tv). W kuchni stolik i krzesła. Kuchnia nie była wyposażona, mieliśmy do dyspozycji tylko 2 noże do masła (żadnych łyżek, łyżeczek i widelców, a nawet zwykłych kubków). Szklanki i filiżanki brudne. Nie było także misek, tak więc przygotowywanie jedzenia w garnku i spożywanie śniadania palcami rozbawiło nas do łez. W szufladach i na blacie brudno, meble niskiej jakości, krzywo zawieszone drzwiczki od szafek kuchennych. W mini ekspresie w kuchni była woda z kamieniem i zlewki po poprzednich użytkownikach. Mieszkanie nie było wyposażone w środki czystości. W kuchni używane ściereczki i gąbka. Sposób wyremontowania mieszkania nieestetyczny, szczególnie jeśli chodzi o łazienkę. Z prysznica woda wylewała się na całą łazienkę, lustro było brudne.. W oknach brak moskitier, co w takiej lokalizacji jest niedopuszczalne. W mieszkaniu zapach farby lub lakieru, który był najsilniejszy w sypialni....
