It’s a budget hotel with a swimming pool. Please note that air conditioning is charged extra 8€/day. You need to take your own pool towels. Room is very dated. Toilet is very noisy when flushed and smells like a public one. You are meant to cook, use bathroom, shower and sleep without ever being able to let fresh air in properly without letting mosquitoes in. Two single beds instead of double, pool view instead of garden view. No iron in the room even though it was advertised. We were greeted by a very charismatic guy, who’s definitely worth 5 stars service. We thought we’ll have a great time. Unfortunately, in the mornings, there was a miserable lady who can’t count even with a calculator 32+2+2. It’s 36 by the way, not 38. There is no proper coffee. Espresso is too weak, greek coffee wasn’t available and we were offered Nescafe… 7-9 PM there’s a happy hour where some cocktails are buy one get one free. I ordered strawberry daiquiris… That was my last order there. It was almost undrinkable strawberry syrup slush. I didn’t dare to order dinner after that. Ipsos town is full of rude Italians, noisy and really busy - feels like Blackpool. We ended up renting a car and found Corfu nice. This hotel might be a good, cheap base to explore the island but...
Read more1st time here and we have had the absolute best holiday from start to finish! The staff are out of this world, so accommodating, big George, little George, Alex are the most welcoming people I have ever met! The 2 lady chefs (sorry forgot your names) 10/10 friendly brilliant cooks and can't do enough for you! Also Claid and the other gentlemen polote efficient servers. We met some wonderful people while we were there nearly all return guests....I guess that will be us next year! The rooms are basic yes but spotlessly clean beds are comfortable, views are amazing! Never had a issue with getting a sunbed and the pool is spotless! You get a fridge with a small freezer compartment a electric 2 burner hob and a kettle. The food and drink was so reasonably priced and delicious we didn't need to make any meals in our room. Thanks for the laughs, great service and of course the magners George!!! ....Alex don't forget always a glass with ice 😉 Thanks again all of you, from liz and wayne...
Read moreWe booked this apartment after looking at reviews on trip advisor. If you're looking for a nice relaxing holiday this is perfect. Food and drinks available from 9am till roughly midnight, all fresh local produce used but also nice restaurants within a 10 minute walk. A little hilly around the area so for the less mobile a car would be an advantage with parking available (maybe chargeable). Ipsos is the most local town with everything you need from grocery to bars, restaurants, nightlife etc, again only 15 20 minutes away. Corfu blue bus runs daily from Ipsos to Corfu town (number 7 bus). You can get a pre-paid ticket from local shops or a ticket booth at some stops for €1.70 or pay the driver which is more expensive at €2.30! Corfu town is about 15 kilometres away so even paying on the bus is cheap. What more to say!! We had a great relaxing break and will definitely return again. P S Dimitris & Tracey make you feel welcome and part...
