Paul’s Mansion — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

We had a wonderful time in the villa! The pictures are real, however it is even better in reality! The design and furnishings just fit together perfectly. The quiet location with this view, no matter what time of day, is unique and a dream!

We were a group of 10 people, so each couple had their own bedroom, bathroom and therefore privacy. Likewise, the villa is equipped with everything you need for daily needs and the large kitchen had everything to prepare great breakfasts or dishes. We did not lack for anything. Supermarkets, restaurants as well as beaches can be reached within 5-10 minutes by rental car. In Chania you are within a few minutes by car or cab. Beautiful city by the way!

A big praise to Mary & Dimitris! They really took care of everything and organized a lot for us. Even the welcome package was insanely good. All the recommendations on restaurants, places and services were top notch so we could completely relax. A quick message and we had the best table at one of the best restaurants.

The staff was also extremely friendly and did a great job cleaning everything and always provided us with fresh towels.

Overall it was an incredible experience and would like to thank Mary, Dimitris and their team for this wonderful vacation. Thanks to you we had unforgettable moments and I hope to see you again soon! Keep up...

We stayed at Paul’s Mansion first week of September 2025. Our family had the best time!

Location of the villa is great, 10 mins to the airport and 15 mins to Chania town, 10 mins to Souda. Lots of supermarkets and shops close by. We had a car which was useful for short journeys but taxi’s a readily available.

The Villa had superb amenities, the large kitchen was great and had everything you would need and more. The bedrooms were spacious and well appointed as were the 5 bathrooms. We spent most of our time around the pool which was perfect temperature at the end of August. The view was spectacular, we found it really interesting watching all the cruise ships and naval ships coming and going. If you are up early (or late enough) the sunrise is stunning. The large speaker for at the pool was a real bonus for us.

The cleaners were so nice and there every day working our those that we at the pool or still in bed.

We would highly recommend this villa to anyone with a large group. We are hoping to return again next year! Thank you to the owners who were so kind and always on hand if we needed it (which we really didn’t)

We had an amazing stay at Paul’s Mansion in August. The villa is stunning throughout with everything we needed and lots of space. We were a group of 8 (adults and teens) and we all loved our stay. Dimitris and Mary were fantastic, always on hand to share great restaurant recommendations, arrange boat trips and transport when needed. The cleaning ladies were also so friendly and helpful. The views from the villa are stunning at all times of day and night and the location is peaceful and quiet, whilst being close to the beautiful old town of Chania (10-15 mins by car) and similarly the beach at marathi.
