This place is absolutely lovely in the warm months, and the view even during winter is breathtaking. Although I know some folks who think this is the best dinner on the island I have to disagree. The food is still tasty, however, and dome of the flavor combinations are interesting. I always enjoy the orange/fennel/avocado salad, and the eggplant and walnuts dip. I tried the fennel pie this time around (delicious!) with the chicken and chestnut risotto (only so-so). I think they do better at the vegetarian dishes, frankly, than the ones with meat. The setting itself is quite historic, having been both a dance studio and a bar for occupied Greece during the war. The wait staff are happy to tell you about that. They do speak English, and are happy to take cards for payment, although cash is easier if you're in a group, since split checks aren't really a thing in most of Europe. The main course came right after the appetizer, you might want to mention you don’t want them right after one another. We got lots of raki and the bbq cook came to our table to chat with us.
