We recently spent eight nights at Paralos Kosta Alimia to celebrate our anniversary, and from start to finish, it was nothing short of exceptional.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly special. We were surprised with a complimentary room upgrade to a beautiful suite, along with a chilled bottle of prosecco and a delicious anniversary cake waiting for us in the room—a wonderfully personal and thoughtful touch.
Room: We had booked a swim-up room with stunning views of the sea. Initially, due to availability, we had booked to switch rooms mid-stay but the team went out of their way to accommodate us and allowed us to stay in the upgraded suite for the entire duration. We also opted for a late check-out, and again, the staff arranged it so we could remain in our room rather than move—making everything seamless and stress-free.
The room itself was spacious, modern, and beautifully styled, with a big, incredibly comfortable bed that made it hard to get up in the mornings. The swim-up pool added a luxurious touch, and the sea views were breathtaking.
Food: We were on a half-board basis and were so impressed with the quality and variety. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful, with something for everyone—we especially loved the freshly made pancakes. Each evening, we enjoyed a beautifully presented four-course dinner, rotating across five different on-site restaurants, each with its own distinctive and generous menu.
The restaurant and bar areas are cleverly designed with a retractable roof and bi-folding glass doors, meaning you can still enjoy the lovely weather and views while dining—creating a perfect blend of indoor comfort and outdoor atmosphere.
Everything on the menus was included as part of the half-board package—even premium dishes like steak, which you might expect to come with a supplement elsewhere. While drinks aren’t included in the half-board package, the cocktail and wine lists were excellent, and staff were always happy to offer personalised and delicious recommendations, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
And the desserts were out of this world—genuinely the best we’ve had anywhere.
Staff: The service throughout our stay was impeccable. Every single staff member was warm, professional, and genuinely keen to ensure we had the best experience possible - we wish we could mention them all! A heartfelt thank you to Katerina, who went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests and looked after us so kindly.
Facilities: While we spent most of our time enjoying our private swim-up pool, the hotel’s other pool areas were just as lovely—beautifully maintained with stylish and incredibly comfortable sunbeds. One of the best things was that, despite the hotel being fully booked, the vibe remained very relaxed and peaceful. It never felt crowded, and there were always sunbeds available, whether by the pools or on the hotel’s private beach. There was no need to reserve spots early in the morning—a refreshing change from many other resorts.
The added luxury of being able to order drinks from your sunbed at the touch of a button made lounging even more enjoyable. The same attention to comfort and service extended to the private beach, which was equally serene and well-equipped.
Atmosphere: We’re a couple in our 30s, and one of the things we loved most about Paralos Kosta Alimia was the relaxed and inclusive vibe. There was a great mix of nationalities and age groups, from younger couples to older guests and families. It felt welcoming to everyone and would suit anyone looking for a stylish, peaceful, and high-quality getaway.
Overall: Paralos Kosta Alimia is a real gem—modern, clean, beautifully designed, and clearly dedicated to top-tier guest experience. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend it without hesitation. The perfect setting for a romantic getaway or simply a luxurious,...
Read moreWe arrived at Paralos Kosta Alimia on the 1st July (opening day) We were a couple of hours early for check in due to the time we arrived in Hersonissos. The hotel was unfinished and seemed to be a bit unorganised with staff not knowing where the toilets were etc.
Within 20 mins of arriving the hotel manager - Katerina, came to great us. She was very understanding of the fact we hadn’t had the best first impression. We had booked a swim up room which wasn’t ready yet so we were upgraded to private pool room, Katerina gave us her number so we could personally speak to her if anything was wrong. Unfortunately the spa and gym were not ready when we arrived, we felt that we had been miss sold the holiday as these were the reasons we picked this hotel. It wasn’t stated on the booking that this was a brand new hotel so it may not be finished. We complained to voyage prive who directed our complaint to Katerina.
Katerina very helpful offering to arrange excursions and spa treatments at a sister hotel. She advised that the spa and gym would be finished mid week but offered to move us to a hotel with in the same group if we felt necessary. We decided that we didn’t want to move hotels as we could see the hotel was coming together.
The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The drinks and food were amazing. We were really impressed with the standard of the food in all the restaurants, our favourite was the steak restaurant. The quality of the meat was superb and cooked perfectly. To have such amazing quality of food, wine and cocktails included with the all inclusive package really exceeded our expectations. The private beach was beautiful and the rooms were finished to a high spec with a comfortable bed and powerful shower.
It was my Birthday whilst we were staying at the hotel and the staff helped my boyfriend to decorate the room making it really special, they also brought a cake to the table after dinner.
The spa was beautiful, we had a treatment by Maria. Maria was very professional and we were both really happy with our relaxing treatments. The only thing I would say about the spa was, that access to the pool and jacuzzi wasn’t included in the price. We didn’t feel this was worth the extra cost.
We expected to have evening entertainment each night as this was included in the description of the hotel. The entertainment area wasn’t finished yet. They did have singers in the bar area however they finished at 9pm most evenings leaving little atmosphere in the hotel. This isn’t necessarily a negative but depends on the sort of holiday you are expecting.
Overall we ended up really enjoying our stay at Paralos Kosta Alimia and we were really sad to be leaving. We felt that Katerina really made our stay the best it could be by really going out of her way to make it feel as luxurious as possible. Every issue we had was addressed straight away with a quick resolution.
We would definitely recommend Paralos Kosta Alimia, when the hotel is finished this will be well...

We spent 11 nights at this lovely hotel on the all-inclusive package and were impressed from the very start. On arrival, we were welcomed warmly and shown straight to breakfast while our room was being prepared — and could already enjoy all facilities and the all-inclusive benefits.
The breakfast buffet is plentiful and well presented, offering a broad variety of fruits, breads, cold cuts, vegetables, pastries, and cakes. On top, there are à-la-carte dishes such as eggs Benedict or poached eggs with spinach or avocado, and a live station for omelettes, fried eggs, and hot dishes like sausages and homemade baked beans.
Lunch is served at two restaurants — a Greek street-food grill with gyros, burgers, and freshly battered calamari, and Levante, the Italian restaurant with pizzas and pastas. A small buffet complements both with excellent starters (fish and meat, even beef tartar) and desserts.
Dinner offers five themed restaurants — steak, fish, Italian, Greek street-food, and a Greek taverna — all booked conveniently via the hotel app. We really appreciated the à-la-carte format instead of a buffet. Dishes were freshly prepared, warm, and quick to arrive, making every evening a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. The food options are not endless, but there’s enough variety, and the quality remains consistently high.
The included drinks — both non-alcoholic and alcoholic — are of premium quality, rounding off the dining experience perfectly.
Rooms & Comfort
We stayed in a Junior Suite with side beach view, which offered plenty of space and comfort. The room design is modern, clean, and bright, with a welcoming atmosphere that matched the rest of the hotel. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything spotless throughout our stay.
Hotel & Grounds
The hotel grounds are beautifully arranged and carefully maintained. Two outdoor pools, each with its own bar, provide ample space to relax, and the beach area offers comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas. Everything feels thoughtfully designed, creating a calm, upscale atmosphere without pretense.
Staff & Service
The staff are what truly elevate Paralos Kosta Alimia. A heartfelt thank-you to Nektaria and Katarina from the breakfast and lunch team — both incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely funny. Their warmth made every meal brighter. A special mention also to Giorgos from the Theatro bar, whose energy and hospitality made him an instant highlight of our pool days.
Across the board, service was professional yet relaxed — the perfect mix of efficiency and friendliness that makes you feel genuinely cared for.
Overall Impression
We loved every part of our stay and can wholeheartedly recommend Paralos Kosta Alimia to anyone looking for a stylish, well-run, and truly relaxing...
