Oasis Studios — Hotel in Municipality of Eastern Samos

Oasis studios is a delightful little place with a wonderful atmosphere, right on Mykali Beach on beautiful Samos. Georgia takes such pride in Oasis and the rooms ( and the whole property) are spacious, clean and comfortable. Our studio had a comfy bed, spacious bathroom with shower, small cooktop, fridge, kitchen utensils and tea and coffee facilities. We were in one of the rear studios, but we had a private seating area with a view to the sea. There is lots of shared terrace/patio space under the cool, vine-covered pergola, looking at the beach, surrounded by gorgeous gardens, to sit and while away the time in between the swimming (about 20 steps away) and eating, at any of the number of tavernas (all with sunlounges on the beach) along the beachfront. There is a supermarket about 7 min drive away and Pythagorio is only a short drive, with its gorgeous little harbour, lovely restaurants and tavernas and excellent museum. The place is wonderful, beautiful house and patio literally next to the beach. We were here last year for a week. I can confirm that all the positive comments are true. Unfortunately this year Mrs. Georgia Christofi, principal of the site, abruptly canceled our reservation, showing serious difficulties in managing the business. Therefore I deeply suggest to require to send a deposit in advance. I mean "require", not only limiting yourself to ask whether a deposit is appreciated (which I did), in order to avoid unpleasant surprises and to have a nice holiday. The place deserves consideration because it is really an oasis, however it can become a nightmare if you find out, few hours before your arrival, that your reservation was unjustly cancelled (notwithstanding the existance of a precise written agreement!). Looking for a nice comfortable beach holiday you are at the right place. Very convenient location, quiet and just a few footsteps away from the nice Mikali Beach (beautiful water front). Rooms well equipped with air conditioning and cooking facilities. Very friendly hosts, overall services perfect. ||Calypso Tavern just next to the Oasis. Friendly people, great food and drinks (have a break from the beach life!!!!). Been there for several years and are looking forward to go there again this year.
