Located close to the serene shores of Psili Ammos, I stumbled upon a quaint, family-run tavern that captures the essence of Greek hospitality. The warmth and friendliness of the staff made the experience truly special.
During my visit, I indulged in a selection of traditional Greek dishes. The trakefteri, though modest in flavor, had a comforting, homemade quality. The tzatziki was creamy and refreshing, though I found myself wishing for a bit more garlic to give it that extra kick. Despite this, it was still enjoyable and paired nicely with the other offerings. The highlight of the meal, however, was the shrimp saganaki. This dish was a true delight, with succulent shrimp immersed in a rich, tangy tomato sauce, perfectly complemented by a generous topping of cheese.
What really makes this place stand out is its casual and inviting atmosphere, combined with its authentic Greek charm. It’s a wonderful spot to savor hearty Greek cuisine in the Psili Ammos area, perfect for anyone seeking a genuine, down-to-earth...

Family of 4, had two frappes, two large mythos, 1 liter of water, Greek salad, fried calamari, shrimp saganaki, fried potatoes, tzaziki it all costed...

The taverna itself is a nice place to sample some delicious seafood and it's not too pricey either. There's a car park at the back of the taverna as well as a smaller car park on the front. Right before the beach there's a deck with 3-4 tables so if you're a romantic, you can have your dinner looking at the sea. The umbrellas on the beach are managed by the taverna owner. Unfortunately they're very basic and offer little protection from the relentless sun. It's a shame they haven't invested in...
