We had the most unforgettable stay at Pathos Villa, and our host, Elena, made it truly exceptional. Having grown up in Samos, she has an incredible knowledge of the island—its best restaurants, hidden gems, and cultural treasures. Her recommendations elevated our trip beyond anything we could have planned ourselves. She even arranged in-villa massages with the remarkable Christina, whose skill as a therapist is unmatched—even compared to treatments we’ve experienced in places like Bali, Dubai, Singapore, and across Europe and Asia. The villa itself is modern, spotless, and ideally located—just a short 5-minute walk to excellent restaurants and a beautiful beach. Upon our arrival, Elena welcomed us with fresh fruit, wine, and snacks, a thoughtful gesture that perfectly embodies Greek hospitality at its finest. Samos is a hidden jewel of Greece. The island is blessed with fertile land, producing some of the freshest, most flavorful food we have ever tasted. The culinary scene is blossoming—up-and-coming restaurants showcasing both tradition and creativity, all with ingredients straight from the land and sea. Every meal was an experience in itself. Beyond the food, Samos is rich in history, culture, and spirituality. The monasteries are awe-inspiring—difficult to put into words, they must be felt in person. Combine that with breathtaking landscapes, sea views, and sunsets, and you have a destination that is nothing short of magical. Leaving is bittersweet; we are so sad to return home to England, but we know without a doubt that we will be back. This was by far our best trip to Greece—and we’ve visited many islands. The villa itself is beautifully designed and spacious. The private pool is a dream—crystal clear & heated at night, perfect for both morning swims and sunset relaxation. The outdoor spaces are thoughtfully arranged, ideal for lounging, dining, or simply soaking in the serenity.

One of the standout features was the fully equipped area especially for yoga. It’s rare to find a holiday rental that combines fitness and relaxation so seamlessly. We loved having the option to stay active without leaving the property.
