Κοχύλι Εστιατόριο — Restaurant in Municipality of Eastern Samos

After a long day we decided to follow up on the recommendation the scooter rental place gave us. And let me tell you how glad we were to follow up on that recommendation.

We we’re welcomed under a beautiful grapevine courtyard with a really nice ambiance to it. Soft music, friendly staff and an open kitchen to peek around and see what’s happening.

After having ordered we got a complementary starter (garlic bread and some olives/spreads/cherry-tomatoes) and not long after the main course arrived. We both had fish that was grilled absolutely perfect. Not too salt, super fresh and really delicious (I had the dorado and my girlfriend the mackerel)

For everyone looking for a nice place to have some really good food, i would definitely tell them to go here. We’re sure to be back during our trip here on Samos.

Great fish restaurant. The fish is super fresh, the owners very friendly and the restaurant itself located at a very beautiful place. It is a little bit pricier but 100% worth it. I would highly recommend the place.

Fried & grilled octopus, seambream, chicken souvlaki, zuccini balls, garlic bread, sardines and grilled feta cheese were fantastic and maybe some of the best on the island. Mussle saganaki was the only dish I would not get again but just because I had much better ones at other places. The lamb chop portion with 4 chops was rather small for the price but it was grilled to perfection.

Absolutely amazing. Every bite was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care and passion.

But what truly set this place apart was the service—it was unlike anything I’ve experienced before. The staff were not only attentive and knowledgeable, but genuinely warm and welcoming, making the entire experience feel personal and memorable.
