1 out of 5 — Terrible! Deeply disappointed despite the glowing reviews. ||||I booked this hotel based on the amazing reviews and honestly can’t understand where those came from. Our stay was plagued by several serious issues:||||1. Built-in LED light that wouldn’t turn off: Even when switched off, it glowed through the night. Barely visible during the day, but extremely annoying in a dark room. Since it was built in, there was no way to unplug it. See the picture. ||||2. Air conditioning nightmare: In the middle of the night, the air conditioner began emitting a horrific sewage-like smell. It was unbearable, and we had to leave the room.||||3. Alternative room was subpar: We were offered another room, but it had a 140 cm wide bed for two people—completely unsuitable and far from what we booked or expected.||||4. The room was dirty. See the picture. ||||5. Staff response was disappointing: They were polite, but barely acknowledged the severity of our experience. They took off the room tax as a gesture, which honestly felt like a token response to serious discomfort.||||We expected a relaxing and well-reviewed experience, but ended up unsettled and exhausted. I hope this review helps others get a...
Read moreWas really disappointed with their customer service considering their good reviews. The front desk on our arrival was nice enough to arrange a round trip taxi to the Bolivar beach club, however the confusion happened on the return to the hotel and the taxi driver was not in front of the restaurant. I wasn’t able to call the taxi company since I can’t make international phone calls, I had catch a taxi at the restaurant. When I came back to the hotel the lady at the receptionist desk scolded me and asked where I was since the taxi driver was waiting. I explained to her I was outside the restaurant and didn’t see a taxi. That’s when I found out there’s multiple entrances and that the taxi driver was waiting between two entrances. I explained to her I didn’t know that and I thought he’d be outside where it said Bolivar Restaurant since that’s where I asked to go and I’ve never been, she then wanted me to still pay the taxi driver for the trouble and I refused since I had just paid 50 euros to get back. Really disappointed with how comfortable she was in disciplining me and scolding me in front of...
Read moreDue to a medical emergency, we were unexpectedly disembarked from our cruise, and a member of our family was placed in a hotel in Elefsina. We reached out to this hotel for two rooms, and they could not have been more accommodating. Each day, they worked with us, understanding that we didn’t know from one day to the next whether we would need the rooms. They checked in often to ask about our family member and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable during a difficult time.
The rooms were clean, the pool area inviting, breakfast was provided each morning, and the rooftop deck was the perfect spot for dinner and drinks. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area — not only for the amenities, but for the kindness and care shown...
