We travel a lot as a family and we have been in all kinds of hotel, not necessarily the pricey ones but can I just say that Melissa hotel (the old one) is the most horrible hotel we have stayed in. The room had a very heavy smell of cigarettes. We couldn’t even breath. The pillows the sheets they all smelled of cigarette odor. Our bed broke the moment I set on it and I am an avarage weight not on the heavy side. 5 o’clock in the morning we would all wake up by the loud voices of the cleaners in the hallways beying loud having conversations with each other, laughing and banking God knows what. The second morning I had to get out and told them to be quiet as I had kids trying to still sleep. The breakfast was soooo poor. They had containers but hardly anything in them. We didn’t even bother sitting for breakfast because there are so many lovely places around, bakeries where you can buy anyhting you like for a few euros. We were shocked to the state of this hotel. Please do yourself a favour and never book...

The room is quite large and cozy, two beds, clean and cleaned both in the room and in the bathroom. There is air conditioner (in September is quite warm in this part of Greece) TV (cable) and Internet (WiFi). The water in the tap drinking, but I bought a pair of bottles. From the window there was a good look at the street, local color. With regard to inforstruction structure, then there is a supermarket with products, and to the beach ten minutes walk. I had a couple of days and stayed with pleasure. Breakfast...

WiFi is great, but I am sitting up through the night using it because I am unable to sleep due to humidity and mosquitoes. In short, there is no a/c!! The unit is on wall but there is no control panel or remote, so I would have been better off outdoors. If you are a TV watcher, I think a 12 inch screen at a distance is also unacceptable compared to all other places I have stayed in...
